Desert Sun Ceramics — Attraction in Moab

My husband and I vacationed in Moab this past Spring (2024). It was our second time to Moab and just love it there. During our trip, we celebrated my husband's 50th birthday. I wanted to do something special for him. In the past, he had talked about taking a pottery class together, so after doing some searching, I found Desert Sun Ceramics. I booked a private pottery lesson for the two of us with Liz. She was a fun instructor and very patient with us first timers on the pottery wheel. We had a great time. The pottery we made had to go through drying, trimming, glazing, etc. Liz took care of all the final steps and about a month later we received our "works of art" in the mail. Securely packed and in perfect condition. They are the perfect, sentimental "souvenir" from a wonderful trip....

We pass this business often and I have always wanted to stop in and paint or do a class. We had family down for the holiday weekend and decided to go and all pick a ceramic piece to paint. We had so much fun! Prices were reasonable and easy to understand as everything is included in the price. They had tons of paint colors to choose from and they just let us go at it with our designs.
