Berks Military History Museum — Attraction in Mohnton

Visiting Pennsylvania from the UK, my friend Tom Fick, who we were staying with suggested a visit to the museum, and I am so glad he did. We were welcomed and shown around the excellent exhibits, which are ordered chronologically, by knowledgeable and highly interesting guides. Mark made himself known to us and was very engaging with interesting facts about the establishment, and running of the museum. All in all two hours well spent, gaining a great deal of knowledge, and very pleasant discussions. Highly recommended, and I will definitely return on our next trip....

You must visit this place. They have a lot of items to view. More historical military items are always being added. The curators are very friendly and helpful. They are currently open from 11am to 1pm on Saturdays. They do not charge but a donation would be very nice. I really enjoyed this hidden gem...
