Mohnton Borough Playground — Attraction in Mohnton

Great play ground and park. Has a extra large wood castle theme play structure. Great for almost all ages. Has several sand "pits" within structure. Has a small area set aside severally for very young toddler 12mo to 24mo where parents can be W their littlest ones. Lots of places for parents to sit and watch Bring bug repellent . Only complaint is bathrooms aren't opened. Currently a portable potty at ball field. Can be a walk from far end. Over all terrific play park W lots of shaded areas...

Great place for the young & young-at-heart to enjoy fun outdoor activities; such as, music in the park, swing sets, a game of tag, a walk or jog around the paved track, play or watch basketball &/or baseball, etc. The wooden castle is always a hit with the kids! It's a nice place to simply relax in the sun or shade, too. Wyomissing Creek flows by gently offering an attraction for fishermen & those looking to dip their toes in the cool water on a hot summer day! -- A place where memories...

I like this park because I used to bring my sons there when they were younger. I wish this playground would update some. The sliding boards are too hot on warm days.. should be slightly covered area for the baby and toddler area. Glad this playground is still there though as there are not many places to take the kiddies anymore. Keep the kiddies safe and keep it open.
