This was a very unique structure that I regret I was able to enter on my visit. It was closed. I would have absolutely loved to climb the inside of that structure and peer out over the world to see all the states I could. Maybe someday I will go back, who knows? When I visited, it was on a trip back to GA. We made a quick stop so I could see the mountain. I am glad I did. This seems to be a very big park with a lot to offer. I saw a small lake with a beach area for the summer, camping areas, and picnic tables. While I was there, a snow squall was moving in so we decided to get off the mountain quickly when the alert came through. Read moreIt's a Great place to go for a day trip. Theres alot to see. A beach, really, it's a lake in my opinion, trails, and other activities. The views are Amazing. We could see for miles around. New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. We took pictures of the Hawks, deer, and other wild animals we saw in the woods all around. The parking lot is very large. There are closer spaces to High Point for those with Handicapped placards and Handicapped license plates.
