Great little good gem of a beach.... Located at the bottom of the High Point monument at High Point State Park, Marcia Lake beach is pretty clean, not that crowded (for a Saturday afternoon in August), and has picnic tables, a small playground and life guards too. The water looks clear, but I wouldn't put my head in it as you know kiddos most likely unintentionally pee in the lake; but the bathrooms have showers, and are pretty clean too (for a public bathroom). Would definitely recommend....

Clean and nice ! Great for swimming with family! Only con would be that there are no garbage cans or any place to throw away your garbage. Have to carry it yourself and take it. The lifeguards are great and attentive.

Clean and nice ! Great for swimming with family! Only con would be that there are no garbage cans or any place to throw away your garbage. Have to carry it yourself and take it. The lifeguards are great and attentive.

Definitely a hidden gem. Get there early so you can get a picnic table/area. The lake is clean and the experience is great. After COVID, there is no longer an entrance fee and there is constant security making sure the areas are abiding by the guidelines. Definitely a great park to enjoy with...
