Sierra Vista Park — Attraction in Monterey Park

Review Update Jun/18/18. Nothing against homeless people, but since this place are fill with kids of all ages and their families. A few homeless person wondering around or sleeping here does bring in some concern. Previous review down below. The lights in this park needs to turn on earlier, I can understand that it is summer right now, but turning on the lights after 8:30 pm( or even later) are considering very late(kids and their families members are somewhat playing in the dark!). Because of People that living around the area, families with kids, toddlers or infants, as well as pregnant women to elderly people are all coming to this place everyday. And since the park is surrounding by apartments and trees, it definitely need the lights to turn on at around 7:30 ( or 7:45) while many kids are still playing at the playground, and adults are Chit Chatting...

I go here to vote and every time there's a group of old men smoking while playing cards and occasionally red cups are on hand. Coming to the park to play cards is fine but the smoking is unacceptable. There are still people taking late afternoon walks and these men are smoking near the walking path.
