Parking is located on gravel. I was here in August, all trees were green and luscious, and there was plenty of shade. The path itself was extremely narrow, and I would highly recommend wearing a long pair of pants so you don’t get scratched or touched by poison ivy.
Would highly recommend spraying some Deet against the ticks!
It is not a circular trail rather it takes you from point A to point B in about an hour. There’s plenty of trash near the water that people left...

Due to the abundance of wildlife you should also be wary of ticks. FYI Ticks are still active even during winter months 😉
