From reading other reviews, it seems this is a recurring issue that has not yet been addressed.
This was my first visit, and I was genuinely excited because my past experiences with African cuisine have always been very positive. I was initially told my order would take 20–25 minutes, but it ended up being closer to 40 minutes. While the staff was apologetic and courteous about the delay, which I appreciated, the real disappointment came when I received my food.
When I opened my order at home, I was shocked by the portion sizes. Although the bag felt heavy and appeared to hold a generous amount of food, the container was overwhelmingly filled with rice and only two small pieces of meat. My wife’s order was very similar, except hers was mostly spinach with just two small pieces of meat as well.
I find it very difficult to justify paying nearly $20 for what essentially amounts to a box of rice or spinach with barely any protein. While I want to commend the staff for their kindness, the portion-to-price ratio is unacceptable and leaves customers feeling misled.
