Exhausted pup after her romp in the bark park is always a great reward. There are two sections to this bark park one for smaller dogs and one for big dogs. The smaller dog area has a nice pavilion for the humans to sit at. One can grab a chair before they enter. There is a nice trail to walk along inside the bark park. My only complaint is that not many people had picked up after their dogs in the big dog area and thus had to dodge a lot of piles when trying to play with my dog. But there is a shaded area with trees and some benches scattered throughout to make it nice for the humans.

We have visited dog parks across the country, and this one is the absolute best. We used the big dog side, and our German Shepherd loved it. It's clean, well kept, and it's beautiful. There are shade trees, a large concrete pad water, a house, bowls and a little sandbox converted into a small pool. There are benches, but a group of locals comes in the evening with their own lawn chairs so that they can sit together and visit while the dogs play. We met friendly people in the evening and the morning. Five paws up!!

My visit here was incredible! I went twice with my fur baby during my overnight stay in Montgomery! It’s location is only minutes away from lots of shopping, hotels and restaurants! This is a safe park with lots of seating, shade, water and pet cleanup stations. I’m proud to say it was very clean considering other dog parks I’ve visited!

We evacuated to Montgomery due to Hurricane Michael. With four dogs I was quickly googling dog parks. We absolutely fell in love with this one. They have a side for 25+ to separate the littles from the bigger. We went everyday for the four days we were there. It’s decentlu sized. Has a walking path on both sides. Dog water everywhere on both sides. Pickup and throw away stations for dogs and humans. Seating everywhere in the shade. We only saw one dog fight, and one dog picked a fight with ours cause she got too close to the others ball. Both were quickly dealt with. Mostly humans do their duty and picked up after their dogs but not all so still be mindful where you step. There was also numerous mud puddles and mud spots. My dogs ignored it but many owners were upset when theirs didn’t. They have a kiddie pool for dogs. They also have washing stations for dogs. Everyone was really nice and social. Only a few didn’t watch their dogs. They do allow kids and everyday ours had someone or two to play with. There was always someone else there so we were never alone like other parks....

While the park is wonderful, and the worst muddy after a rain parts are fenced off, I'd offer some caution when bringing your dogs here. There are no way for rules to be enforced, so when I was there for the first time with my puppy, the few that were there happened to be an unruly, overbearing puppy with an unconcerned owner and another owner that feeds dogs without asking permission of the owners if the dog is allowed to have it. The park is wonderful, just bear in mind the people are not. I live quite a ways away, so from now on, I'll be watching for who is there when I go, and take him for a walk if those people are there again. I'm lucky enough not to need the room for him to run, but only to go there for socializing...

The park itself is very nice. Plenty of room to run around and securely fenced. Only and big problem....there was a middle aged woman with two Australian Shepherds who claimed to be a humane shelter volunteer (no name tag, nothing to identify) taking pics of my dog and asking probing questions regarding his health status. She was clearly taking notes on him and took pics of me and my dog WITHOUT my consent. There are no requirements to register your dog, so there is no reason for this behavior. Seemed very suspicious. Dog theft is very common in this area and anyone can be a thief. Needless to say we will not be returning...
