Blue Heron Park — Attraction in Moses Lake

This park is an absolute gem! It’s beautifully maintained with a stunning lake surrounded by lush greenery and plenty of shaded areas to relax. There are numerous picnic tables, perfect for family outings or casual hangouts with friends, and the playground is great for kids to enjoy and stay active. Parking is never an issue—there are lots of spots available, which makes visits hassle-free. The restrooms are clean, and it’s a nice bonus to have showers available, especially if you’re spending a full day there. During the summer, the ice cream truck is a fantastic touch—cool treats on a warm day while enjoying nature just makes the experience even better. Overall, it’s a peaceful, well-equipped, and family-friendly park that has quickly become one of my favorite spots to unwind....

Great park and swimming place. Been going since I was a kid and took my kid as well. Large grassy shaded areas. Picnic tables and bbq grills there or bring your own grill. Bathroom changing area. Playground. Walking path . Fishing/sitting dock, boat unloading dock, basketball court, frisbee golf throughout park. Great place for large or small families , get togethers to plays games. Shallow to deep swimming area. Nice hill to sit and view the lake and park. Nice walking overpass over freeway watch cars go by. Great place to spend a summer day. Good to just walk around and enjoy scenery also. Gas station/ convienent store less than five min drive away. Plenty of parking. I'd probably give it a 5 star but no camping...

We are from the Tri-Cities and when we first moved up here we went to the dunes and we went to heron Park my pomchi loves the park he loves the fact that he can just run and play ball and every once in a while he gets to play with it's very beautiful frisbee golf there there is a boat ramp plus a boat dock and there is a dog that you can walk out onto the water sit down on benches and fish if you like or just go out there and enjoy the feeling of being on the there is barbecue pits out there so you can have barbecues and the people that I have met there are extremely nice if you're ever in this area I advise you to go check it out even just for a day or bring your boat and oh yeah don't forget to...
