I love the food and would come here often. The drinks are great. In August, I went to Paradise to enjoy a good meal with my family. After we were done eating, I paid with my credit card and filled out the receipt to sign the bill and leave a tip. Once we got up and were about to leave, we were stopped and accused of taking the ticket by our waitress, who had short white hair, so we wouldn’t have to sign it. Our original waitress accused us of attempting to steal the ticket so I would place a chargeback with my credit card company like other people have apparently done. After explaining to her that I left the ticket on the table, she aggressively told us that someone stole the ticket and to check our pockets. I was shocked and embarrassed. I’ve never took a ticket in my life from a restaurant, I’ve never placed a chargeback with my credit card company after eating at a restaurant, that’s not the right thing to do. She then said we couldn’t leave until the ticket was found and that we had to find it. I did get loud and upset rightfully so because she wasn’t very kind at all and she said I needed to lower my voice because of the people having a meeting in the conference room, which was ironic because she got loud and aggressive to begin with. She was very rude to myself and my family. The other waitress tried to calm things down and was more friendly. The waitress that was rude refused to get the manager and refused to print another ticket because it’s “impossible.” Shocker, it’s not as the waitress that was more polite printed a new ticket from the POS system. I signed it and left disturbed and upset. I have worked in customer service. That waitress definitely lacks customer service skills and should not be working here. For the grievances we experienced that day, she should be terminated. I would like to get an apology from the owner. I was highly disappointed as I felt disrespected, humiliated, and...
Read moreOur waiter definitely made this a 5 star review. Many of the seafood items on the menu were not available, we weren't really interested in having seafood this far from the ocean anyway. She was open right from the start what was availiable and what was a good choice. The person who seated us brought out water immediately and she was prompt to bringing our drinks. She made sure our glasses were full and placed our orders. I felt like having a burger but couldn't find a burger with and egg on it. I asked her if I could have an egg on my burger and she didn't even bat an eye, in fact she asked me how I wanted it cooked to place on my burger. It was nice having a competent waiter that didn't have to go back and ask the cooks if they could add something. The teenager got fish tacos and devoured them. I didn't ask them if they liked them but the evidence was that they finished their entire plate in a few minutes was good enough for me. The wifey got the asain salad it was plated very appealing and she really enjoyed it. My bacon burger with the added egg was fantastic! The fries where great also and I shared them with our family. We ended up getting prawns as last add on and they where crispy and delicious with a sweet chili...
Read moreSeemed like the best option around my hotel, should have gone with my gut and got dinner at Taco Del Mar, I ordered an Irish Death to start, I got some brown looking sludge that was clearly not what I ordered or should have come out of the tap they used. The second one was slightly better but my beer which should have been black wasn't and it tasted off, they were nice enough to notice I didn't finish my beer, most resturants/bars would have taken it off the bill, not this place. I was seated at the bar with a number of other folks, I was the only person never given a napkin or silverware, not even when I asked for it. The gentlemen seated to my right came in after me, ordered after me was served before me and unlike me, didn't have to wait 15 minutes to ask for a bill and wait another 20 before being able to get one and pay. If I could have scored them a zero I would have. They should pave paradise and put in a...
