Price was cheap, location has a nice view of the lake. I will say I did not feel very safe staying here. It appeared as though our room had previously been broken into with broken wood lining the front door frame which was concerning. Additionally, the deadbolt and twist locks were nonfunctional. The peg lock was the only working lock which allowed anyone to open the door from the outside. Luckily I had my own safety locks for the doors. There is a door connecting to the neighbors room as well which is only held by a deadbolt. The walls were very thin so you could hear the highway and neighbors talking clearly. It made me uneasy knowing there was a group of men next door with nothing but a deadbolt between us. Maybe I am over reacting but as a woman, I would like better security at this location. I also noted that there aren’t working cameras and there are air conditioners that you could easily push in or pull out which leaves a large hole in the wall. I included a photo where this had happened. Very concerning. Hopefully Moses lake is not a location for crime but regardless I do wish there was far better security than what was offered. Please fix these issues. This hotel has so much potential and I am sure for the price, some would be happy with this alone. Great staff and location, rooms are nice inside, my only major complaint is the concern for...
Read moreBooking reservations was easy, simply calling the inn & making them over the phone is easier especially for families, the reception staff at super friendly, we talked with the owner's daughter a lot & she was really helpful. The photos & online information make this inn seem better than it is. For example on Google their amenities say they have kitchens in rooms. Our room has a mini fridge & a microwave like every other hotels (motels or inns), so unless you book a king suite or maybe a family room then I don't think all the rooms have kitchens. There are no on-site laundry units, they haven't cleaned or refilled the outdoor pool, the showers have soapscum. Even though the location's great since its a 10min walk to our grandparents' house & its right on the lake & near the new 24hr mini mart / gas station--probably wouldn't stay here again it was $500.00+ for two double bed rooms for 3 nights & too many cons out weighing the pros. Sorry Lakeshore Inn Water-Front we gave you a shot & appreciated the services for our short stay, but next time we'll stay elsewhere.
Also, not wheelchair accessible on any level including the ground...
Read moreI rented a Room for 2 nights the end of January and checked out the 1st of February paid for night which was more than they advertised and they charged me a pet deposit in total for 2 nights it was $285.00so I took pictures when I entered the Room and took pictures when I checked out I informed the manager that I had taken these pictures and expected my deposit back as there was no damage to their Room. When I noticed in my bank statement the $100 deposit had not been refunded I called the motel and they claimed that someone had smoked in the Room which was a lie and I told her so I had even gone down in my robe in the evening to smoke. I don't know if they make a habit of doing this to people but it's wrong , and I wish there was some way that I could report them and get my money back. I just hope that people read these reviews and understand that if you pay a $100 deposit don't expect to get it back because they are thieves and they never intend on returning it. I wouldn't have even given them one star but in order to post this I had no choice. People like them should not be in business and should be...
