The Strand Theatre — Attraction in Moundsville

The Historic Strand Theatre Moundsville ,WV is an amazing venue to see live music. We saw an incredible band, ThunderBeard: A Tribute To ZZ Top, and they rocked the house! I can’t wait to see them again! The staff is wonderful and everything about the strand theater is just perfect! They did an amazing job restoring this beautiful place of history. There are several differences, but they don't detract in the least from the theater. While I would love to see modern movies playing here again, the plays, musical groups, and shows that have been here were still a delight! I remember seeing Westworld, Soylent Green, and a lot of other movies there when I was young. I am very happy to see it...

This older theater is in Moundsville,West Virginia. This was a nice old theater. We went to see our favorite Bluegrass group, Crandall Creek. They put on a good show in the evening & in the afternoon we met them & learned about song writing & the recording business. It was a Great fun day with Great People. The town was...
