I would like to give a special shout-out to Bailey at this location but also to the service i received from everyone who helped me that day! I came in looking to replace 1 or 2 skincare products but ended up leaving with a whole new skincare routine! I donāt have bad skin issues but I had a couple persistent issues that I wanted to focus on.
Bailey worked with me first to diagnose what products I was currently using to determine if they were good, CLEAN products and explained that I wasnāt necessarily getting the results I wanted due to how many I was using and how I was combining them (even though they werenāt bad products). From there, she helped me find the few products I need to get my desired results while taking into account that I am a black woman and different products work differently with different skin tones and textures. I walked away with a new cleanser, toner, and daily moisturizer, and a few trial items to test if I wanted to add them in later, nothing too extravagant. Did I spend more than I intended? Yes. However, Iām only a few days in and I have seen a significant change in my skin, especially with the persistent issues I had that I was having trouble with all last year, so I would say it was worth the investment!
Thanks Bailey for being a superstar and answering all my questions and guiding me to CLEAN products that addressed my specific issues! She even worked with one of the makeup specialists to help me get matched with a lightweight foundation (something I always have issues doing because a lot of foundations make me look orange). I cannot remember the makeup specialists name but special thanks to her as well! I got complements on how my skin looked later that day and all I had on was the leftover foundation from the matching and a little concealer under the eye so I would say it was a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWow, what an experience! Prior to approaching the store, I put in my GPS, MAC... My navigation directed me to JCPenny. I went in & requested MAC makeup. The lady said, "We don't sale MAC, you're thinking we're Sephora."š¤ I told her, "No, I was thinking anything, my GPS was thinking for me!" So I turned around & walked out while thinking to myself, "She's letting me walk out lol." I pull up to Sephora, I walk in & was immediately greeted by 2 sales people. I ask where was the MAC & they both look a lil weird & said we don't carry MAC. I said, "the lady at JCPenny said you do!" The sales person Jaleel said, "We don't sell MAC but what were you looking for?" Wow, I was impressed right here... I told him that I was looking for a 24hr concealer & 24 hr foundation. He explained that they didn't sale MAC but he said, "I can show you what we have..." Let me explain something. I've been a MAC woman for decades & didn't leave the nail shop to pull up anywhere to change from MAC. BUT, when I tell you for me, awesome customer service, professionalism, being personable & knowledgeable about your products does it for me! I say that to say this, Jaleel was amazing. He was patient & kind. He helped me find my colors, he helped me apply them & they looked good. OMG, I can't believe I'm saying this, but I am officially a DIOR girl when it comes to my concealer & foundation. And to me, those are the 2 most important parts of my makeup application. We left for vacation to Tampa that night I got soooo many compliments. But the best compliment was from my hubby. Thanks again Jaleel, you've earned me...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHorrible experience with the sales associates at this particular Sephora. I came in to make a return. Immediately I let the sales associate know I bought 2 of the same items so the item was unused. She opens the box to check the item, which Iāve seen done routinely in a return. Then she takes the blush and untwists it to validate that it was unused. I told her āI already let you know that itās unusedā she replied and said āoh the camera is on me I have to do this.ā That didnāt make sense to me because 1) you are supposed to damage those returns out anyway 2) even if it was used or not, you can still return to Sephora. I was just doing a courtesy by assuring the associate that it was an unused product. I then shopped around and saw some signage about an extra point event. I went back to the front of the store with some products in my hand to check the signage. Two white sales associates both quickly looked over at me to make sure I wasnāt walking out with the products. I then said to them āI guess you guys are trying to catch a criminal today.ā That type of discrimination is ridiculous and harmful. As a rouge member, Iām disappointed in my...
