I must say our experience was horrible at this location. My wife and I left hungry and upset! It was Friday night 7/11/25 at 7:30pm. We were seated without a wait which is typical for this location. Our server got drink orders and came back in two minutes to take our food order. We decided to order a mozzarella stick appetizer, i got soup she got salad and of course our two entrees. Our server goes Missing for 25 minutes, we got nothing to the table no appetizers, breadsticks or soup and salad. I told my wife if they don’t bring us food in the next 5 minutes we would leave. What makes matters worse is the next couple that was seated 10 minutes after us already had the breadsticks soup and salad as normal. Our soup and salad and appetizer was delivered just as I was about to get up and leave. We decided to stay since we were hungry. Not even 5 minutes from getting our soup/salad and appetizers they brought our entrees. Neither of us were done eating the soup or salad. I ordered the stuffed chicken Marsala and the wife ordered the shrimp scampi. My wife noticed that her plate of shrimp scampi had hardly any noodles and very small amount of asparagus and maybe 10 small shrimp. We asked the waitress if this was the correct portion size for a dinner that’s $24.00 and she said and I quote “ I thought you ate half the plate already” we told her no my wife took only 1 bite. Which is the truth! The waitress agreed with us that was not what a full plate of shrimp scampi should be and she would let her manager know. The “manager” was a female and she was guest services supervisor as she explained and said very loudly I got more noodles cooking for you. Ok we didn’t ask for more noodles. All we wanted to know was if that plate was correctly portioned for a $24.00 dinner. My wife stated she had LUNCH portion last week and it had more pasta, asparagus, and shrimp. The manager did not apologize and kept stating the dinner portion comes with 5 ounces of pasta. My wife explained she’s Italian an cooks pasta often and knows what was on the plate was maybe 1.5 ounces of pasta. I guess the manager didn’t realize my wife is no dummy. the manager was very adamant that it’s 5 ounces did not admit the kitchen prepared the meal incorrectly contrary to what the waitress agreed upon who serves these dishes daily. The manager proceeded to continue to worsen things by FAT SHAMING my wife completely embarrassing her to the point she had to get up from the table and cry in the bathroom. At this point she decided she doesn’t want to eat. The manager takes off her meal from the bill. I pay for my meal which I didn’t get to eat either and box it up to take home. We left and my wife cried in the car all the way home. Such a terrible dining experience! We were there celebrating our 8 year anniversary and to be treated in this manner...
Read moreMy husband and I were there recently and had a horrible experience. A bunch of small issues culminated with us leaving angry. We were seated and waited about 15 mins before someone (in a white coat, a chef?) realized we were never waited on and came and took our drink and meal orders. Our assigned server came over, I assumed to apologize, and said no one ever told him we were his table and walked away. Two different servers brought us our drinks and soup. Our assigned server brought us our meals and we informed him that he brought the incorrect meal for my husband, so he took it back to the kitchen. He brought the correct meal back, but at this time I had bitten into what was supposed to be chicken parm and it was eggplant, so I informed our server of this. He took my plate and walked away, again without a word but with an eye roll. He brought back another plate and handed me the plate. Both of my hands were burned from the scalding hot plate that the server handed to me without a warning. I sat at the table holding back tears as he walked away, once again without saying a word. A simple apology would have gone a long way. Our server left his foldable stand and serving tray next to our table until another server took it away, and she apolpgized that it was sitting there for so long and told us to let her know if we needed anything else. The chicken parm was very burnt and not edible, but I refused to even bring it up because I did not want to interact with our server again. Our server returned to our table eventually to ask if we needed drink refills and we asked for some breadsticks too, since the original ones were very hard and burnt. We waited about 15 more minutes watching our server walk around until he eventually came back to our table, empty handed, asking if we needed anything else. At this point we said no and just left. This was literally the worst dining experience of my life, and I will drive out of the way to go to a different location next time. Edited to add: I reached out to Olive Garden using the contact form on their website, and I was emailed a basic reply 7 days ago saying that someone would be contacting me in 1 to 2 days. I haven't...
Read moreWe chose to come in tonight because we had traveled from Oklahoma to Maryland and were on our way back and needed a rest so we got a nearby hotel and decided we needed a quiet laid-back dinner.
It wasn't busy when we came in and was seated immediately. We should've taken some notation to the unhappy table seated next to us as we started a light conversation with them. They didn't get service as expected and they had kids, both quiet as a mouse might I add. She didn't enlighten us exactly what the problem was as she was the most polite forgiving person we've met on this trip but she wasn't happy. We had a different server than she did but she noted before leaving she never got refills.
Our waitress did okay but I don't know if she was just so busy with other things she was just distracted, so we tried to give her some grace since it was close to closing. We were already tired from long travels so honestly she didn't have to do a whole lot to keep us happy.
What annoyed the hell out of the whole restaurant was the other waitstaff and hosts who had nothing better to do but stand in the front lobby and talk at concert-level loudness about their business that NOBODY wanted to hear. They continued the conversation the minute we sat down til almost the time we were getting up to leave, where you could hear them in the back of the house talking. We looked for managers but saw no one during the entirety of our visit as we weren't the only ones upset by the rudeness of this nonsense. We couldn't enjoy our meals with all the noise it was unreal. The laughing and horse-playing were so unprofessional for Olive Garden that we will have to rethink ever visiting. We've always enjoyed coming into the chain in Oklahoma where it's very professional, the employees are dressed in exemplary, and it is quiet; you can talk across the table and be heard. We would've probably stayed and bought dessert like we usually do but had enough. If this many front-of-the-house employees need redirection speaks extreme volumes about the location. You sure didn't have people in the back...
