Let me say I’m not one who complained or leaves reviews but this waiter we had today needs to reality check!! Me and my family of 7 were at this place for lunch today let start off by saying the food was great!! The server we had was terrible!! I wish I had caught his name but he has larger frame glasses and where’s his hat on the tip of his head backwards. Let’s start off with he screwed up our drinks one of ordered a Shirley temple and got a sprite, she said could you just bring me a little grenadine and I’ll mix it myself so it doesn’t go to waste. He comes back with why didn’t you order a Shirley temple!! Then he brings one of the four appetizers which were all ordered at the same time. 20 mins or so goes by then the other three come out and then less then five minutes later all of our food is brought out so we had a crowded table and all our food at once to eat. One of us at the table got full quickly because of this and asked for a box. Everyone else was still eating and later we asked for another box and normally a waitress will ask if anyone else needs one or just bring a few extra for the table. Because this didn’t happen everyone started asking for boxes as they were finishing because we all eat at different speeds!! So apparently this made him mad so he decided to make the comment of “ thank goodness where not busy because this would be a problem constantly making these little trips back and forth if I was busier” So that kind of made us taken aback. So we move on past that with no reply to him. Then he goes to get us Togo drink and checks two of us at the table first when we ordered said we would be on one check and the other five on one. He said he would do it at the end so I when it came time for the check he we reminded him again to separate the two people off. He comes back will all the Togo drinks messed up again and took the check to the one guy at our table and tell him I heard your paying for everyone. He assumed his wife might have told him to pay and she was in the restroom so he couldn’t confirm. He goes ahead and pays the bill that was over $200 for all us. Then proceed to walk to the other end of the table where me and the other girl were on one check and tells us “he offered to pay for the whole bill and we should be thankful because not many people do that and to enjoy it”
We were like what the heck!! So we walked out side and told our family member we told him to split the bill and that’s how we found out our waiter was the one apparently choosing who was paying what for us luckly we are all family and can work the money out but that was really shitty of this guy to do this. Because of him I wouldn’t go back on the chance I would have to deal with him again I don’t think that’s the job industry for him because he has no people skills...
Read moreWe tried this restaurant on a Sunday afternoon after church. Everyone has been raving about how good the food is and how fun the atmosphere is. We were promptly seated and reviewed the menu. There are some very nice specials for Sunday brunch. There were also drink specials like 2 for 1 rose mimosa's. Our service was excellent. The waitress did a fantastic job of serving us. The food was pretty good. I have to say the turkey burger is excellent. Someone had gotten a little carried away with the salt on the waffle fries, but they were edible. The pretzel bites have a touch of sweetness. The two dipping sauces are excellent. This is a "must try" appetizer!!! The restaurant was clean. There were two things that stood out that made this visit to the restaurant not as great as it could have been. The first issue was the hostess' attire. It was Sunday afternoon. The hostess was in cut off blue jean shorts with half of her cheeks showing. On the front side, well....you can imagine how the shorts looked. There were lots of families with tiny children in the restaurant. Maybe she just forgot her work clothes today. Maybe I'm getting older and these things bother me more. Anyway, more appropriate and conservative attire would be better during the day for the hostess. The second issue was the noise. In the back room where the fireplace is, it is a great place to sit. However the noise was so loud that my guest and I could not hear each other. He ended up turning off his hearing aids because of the happy screaming from the children. I was also hit with a flying crayon that knocked over my drink glass. Children will be children. My suggestion would be to have an adult's only section where maybe the noise would not be as loud. That way guests can enjoy themselves and have nice conversation, while they dine. Another suggestion would be to have a children's/family section where the children can interact with each other and be as loud as they want without disturbing other guests. This would allow the parents to talk while their kids played in a safe environment. Overall, I would give this restaurant a 7 out of 10 score. When I go back, it'll be later at night when hopefully the kiddos will...

ML Rose in Mt. Juliet is hands down one of the best brunch spots in Middle Tennessee! I came here specifically for their Brunchwrap Supreme and it absolutely blew me away. Imagine a perfectly grilled wrap stuffed with Von Elronda breakfast sausage, fluffy eggs, a blend of cheddar and Jack cheese queso, and topped off with cilantro crema—every bite was rich, savory, and bursting with flavor. The fresh lettuce and pico added a crisp balance, and pairing it with their crispy onion rings and house dipping sauce made the meal unforgettable (see photo for proof—this thing is a masterpiece!).
What sets ML Rose apart isn’t just the food—it’s the entire experience. The brunch menu is creative, unique, and unlike anything else in the area. You can tell they put real thought into making brunch exciting, not just the same old dishes.
The atmosphere is vibrant yet relaxed, perfect for a weekend brunch with friends, family, or even solo. The rustic-modern vibe, great music, and welcoming energy make you want to stay awhile. And the customer service? Top-tier. Friendly staff who are genuinely attentive without being pushy, making sure everything is on point from the moment you sit down.
