A nice little roadside waterfall.
There is a small amount of parking (enough for about four or five vehicles) right off the road. I drove past and came back from the other direction as the traffic was pretty heavy at the time.
The view from the roadside isn't that great, but if you're willing to get out and slog through the mud, the views are a thousand time better. You can get right up to the falls on both sides, though you may get muddy and/or wet.
Well worth visiting, though it may take a couple tries depending on how much traffic and how many other visitors are...
Read moreThis is a beautiful free falls in the Munising area. It's not the most accessible even though it's right next to the highway. Turn onto 94 for the parking area, and then you have to cross a highway (28) to get to the falls, which is on the East side of the road. Where your muddy boots for the best views. You can hike down and get a much better picture of the falls. It's also fun to climb up to the top of the falls and around them, but do so at your own risk! Read moreRight off the highway before or after Munising, depending on which way you're going. This is a very busy tourist spot. The windows of enjoying this alone are few, especially during the travel seasons. Gorgeous views in the fall, lots of flow in the spring. As of now, 10/1/2021, the flow is very low but quite pretty! Be careful pulling off of the side of the road when approaching these falls. Happy days!
