I noticed comments about the sign being on but the business was closed so I mentioned it to the owners when I was there today.

The owners were so sweet and explained that they are always open for firewood sales and pumpkins (seasonal) but not always at the shop because they might be out cutting firewood.

They leave the sign in so people know then can buy fire wood at anytime and pay via Venmo or the box on the rack.

They were so kind and knowledgeable about the area. I will definitely be back for...

Internet had hours listed as open, open sign in window was on, so went thru construction to visit only to find door locked and no one there. No sign indicating when they would be back, if they were going to open, nothing. Guess I should have believed other reviews that said the...

The owners of this local business were so nice and friendly. This is the kind of northern Michigan friendliness I’ve heard so much about.

We stopped for firewood and the owners pulled up as we were loading up. They helped up and we chatted for a few minutes! Best...
