J. Moss Winery — Attraction in Napa

We were hosted by the owner himself Mr. James Moss!! Incredible personalized experience. Even though we had to conduct the tasting outside because of social distancing, it was perfect. Didnt change the experience one bit. I think I actually preferred being outside as it was such a beautiful day. They sat us at some tables in a shaded area adjacent to the tasting room and it was comfortable and breezy. His wife also came out to greet us and even provided great restaurant options in the area we could check out after our tasting was over. It is apparent Mr Moss and his family are very passionate about their wines and they really take pride in the bottling process. I really enjoyed this tasting and will definitely return...

What can I say about the exceptional experience at J.Moss Winery. My friends and patronized several wineries on our recent visit, but none provided the special touches that we experienced at J.Moss. From a personalized tasting menu to an behind the scenes peak, this is a must-add winery for visiting Napa. More importantly, his dedication to his craft is evident in the taste, quality and structure of his wine. If you are not visiting Napa anytime soon, that's okay - place an order of your favorite type of wine and thank me later!!! Unfortunately, this was our first winery experience during our trip to Napa. Personally, I think they should dedicate more time in developing their business so that they can open a tasting location in a better location. It was a disappointing experience. The day we went J Moss was traveling. The person who worked with us was unimpressive and didn't seem in the mood. Thankfully, we went to another winery and vineyard during our trip and got the "real" experience that I was hoping for at J Moss. Best wishes as you continue to build up...
