My friends and I had such a lovely experience here! The wine tasting area is tucked away amongst the barrels and decorated lovingly with pictures of the Herrera family. Andrea and Ronaldo Jr are so hospitable and fun, and really made us wine newbies feel comfortable! We learned so much about the wine making process and the family and can tell how detail oriented they are throughout all of their business, which sets them apart amongst the hundreds in Napa. You just won’t receive this level of service in many places nowadays! We were able to taste wine right out of one of their barrels and compare to the wines they had poured for us. I thoroughly enjoyed their Pinot noir and the price point is fair given they are a small business and focus on quality. They also sell candles, which are also named after family members, in their empty bottles of wine exclusively on site. They smell so amazing, my friend bought 4! Thank you all for curating such a wonderful...
Read moreI really wanted to like this place and it was one of the biggest reasons why I came to Napa. Unfortunately, the location is very confusing; You get dropped off in a business park with big garages and warehouses. When you finally find it, you walk into an office and have to wait for someone to greet you, which took some time. When I walked in, i thought to myself, “this cannot be the right place”. You’re then guided to the back of the warehouse and seated in a very close proximity with others. There are no windows, so the ambiance is strange; sitting around barrels of wine at an outdoor patio table in what looks like somebody’s garage. Another disappointment was that the pours are extremely small and very expensive. Our host didn’t bother to check on us throughout the time we were there and seemed to not have the best level of customer service. We paid less for bigger pours, a nicer location, and exceptional service at Domaine Carneros. Overall, I...
Read moreDon't let the small, warehouse -feel fool you. If you like quality merlots and cabernet sauvignons this winery is worth the visit. We loved the story as to how Reynaldo made his dream come true of owning a winery. The story is inspiring, especially in this day in age where immigrants don't often receive the credit they deserve for their contributions to our country. Our tour guide, (can't remember her name) was knowledgeable, patient, professional, and overall delightful. My husband and I lucked out as Reynaldo and his family were there at the time our tour ended, so we were able to meet them. He was warm, humble and appreciative of our support for his business. His children were humble and delightful. (I'm sure they don't get why we took pictures with their dad). We look forward to seeing this winery grow and offer more quality wines and inspiration for others who may have a...
