It’s with a degree of sadness and nostalgia that I write this. My wife and I were one of the original wine club members at Falcor. In October of 2007 we visited the fledgling winery and helped crush a truck load of cab sauv. That cab was the very first H Block. I personally helped Fernando mix lactic acid in to a bin of open fermentation petite sryah. I remember Ryan having to run to the hardware store to get a fitting plug for one of the tanks so the fresh crushed juice didn’t leak out on the floor. I held my finger over the hole. We ate pizza, drank wine and essentially helped open a new winery. We were thrilled to do so and Falcor was always our go to wine. Then things turned for the worse. Ryan left the business, Laurie took over and we noticed a drastic change in the way we were treated. We were no longer treated like family, I have to say, we never asked for special discounts. Do yourself a big favor and put this on your list--you will not be...

Laurie, one of the owners greeted us as we came in with a hug. It was like we knew her for years. The rest of the afternoon continued with the same great hospitality and one delicious glass after the next.
These wines are truly special and have already been aged... I am still dreaming of them and can’t wait for our shipment.
On this trip, we visited Caymus, Terra Valentine, Pride, Hamel, Hudson Ranch and Repris. All were amazing, but Falcor will always hold a special place...
