If I had to give this theater zero stars, I would! My friend and I had prepaid tickets to see the new Barbie movie which I paid the convenience fee for. We get there and our assigned seats were already taken and nobody did anything about it. My friend and I had to sit in the only 2 empty seats and within 20 minutes of the movie, a woman with her 2 teen daughters come up to us. One of the daughters told us those were their seats. We politely asked them if they could get someone to help them with getting both ours and their seats back. Not long after that, the mom starts yelling at us and demanding us to move because she paid for those seats. Throughout the entire movie and since that moment, she had been verbally assaulting us, using swear words and standing about 6 inches from my face, demanding me to move. I struggle with PTSD. This situation triggered an episode for me that caused me to not only lose my speech but it made me emotionally distressed for the remainder of the day. I asked management to handle the situation and they in turn blamed me for not coming to them earlier to resolve the issue. I have contacted corporate a few times requesting a response in getting a refund for my movie. They have not given me a response back at all! Instead I was offered another movie theater to watch the movie in and a free guest pass for next time. With the painful experience that I went through to get to see this movie, I don’t consider a free guest pass justifiable for the woman’s actions and for how management handled it! I am extremely disappointed in this theater and will not be giving AMC my...
Read moreAMC is a fantastic movie theater chain that consistently provides an exceptional movie-going experience to its customers. From its comfortable seating and state-of-the-art sound and visuals to its delicious snacks and wide selection of films, AMC truly has everything a movie lover could want.
But what truly sets AMC apart is its exceptional customer service, and in particular, the outstanding service provided by Ethan. From the moment I walked into the theater, Ethan went above and beyond to ensure that my experience was nothing short of amazing.
Not only did Ethan greet me with a warm and friendly smile, but he was also incredibly knowledgeable about the films showing and was able to provide helpful recommendations for what to watch. He even took the time to explain the various seating options and answer any questions I had.
Throughout the movie, Ethan was always available to assist with any requests I had, and he did so with a positive and cheerful attitude that really made me feel like a valued customer. Whether it was helping me find the perfect snack or ensuring that my seat was comfortable, Ethan went out of his way to make sure that my experience was the best it could be.
Overall, I cannot speak highly enough about the exceptional customer service provided by AMC and in particular, by Ethan. His kindness, knowledge, and dedication to his job truly made my movie-going experience one that I will never forget. I highly recommend AMC to anyone looking for a fantastic night out at the movies, and I can guarantee that with employees like Ethan, you will never be...
Read moreProbably my worst customer service experience from any industry. AMC is overall a good franchise, but the manager at the Naperville location really needs a new calling in life. I went to a 10:45 PM showing, when I arrived they were turning people away at the door who had tickets already purchased. Apparently they close at 11:00PM which warrants them to turn away customers who already paid? They had a security guard out front for specifically that reason! There were multiple people turned away and if they wanted a refund for the movie they had to come back the next day to get new tickets. Seriously? We had to wait outside until 11:30 with the staff refusing to speak with us, even though we showed up on time for the movie. When the manager finally came out he acted annoyed that we were even asking to see the movie that we already bought tickets for! I get it that people show up late to movies on occasion, but if you’re going to show a movie that late in your theatre, you can treat your paying customers with the same respect as people who’ve gone to earlier movies. Again, there is nothing wrong with AMC, fantastic chain, but the staff and managers at this specific location either need to be trained properly with customer service, or they need to find a different job! If I could give this location zero...
