Mayneland Farm — Attraction in Naperville

Rude and talked down to. I really caught myself with the conversation over the phone with this guy. I asked about price and got a sniker. He then proceeds to tell me about the comparison between store brought and the product they provide. I would like to think that was apparent. All I wanted was a first time experience where my family and I, wife and 2 kids 8 and 10 could go to a farm and pick out some fruit we would enjoy. I understand the prices may be a bit more but I'm not looking to spend a bundle on a small carton of whatever. Some families just don't have the income, and asking to get a idea if we could afford it didn't seem all that far fetched. He tells me drive to the farm since your not far which i wasnt to see for myself. If I get talked to like he talked to me over the phone would be atrocious. So i can imagine my family and i driving out to that farm and getting out of our vehicle to interact with attitudes like that. I would never put myself in a position to be treated in a ill mannered way, in person while my family watches on seeing their dad/husband...

Went with the kids and corn was good but man it was expensive overall. I was planning on paying more but geez....$6.00 for a cantaloupe that wasn’t even all that spectacular. We picked up a head of cauliflower and it was $11!!! I mean I would like to support my local farmers and try to buy local when I can but I could get further even at whole Foods even and like I said the quality wasn’t like OMG outstanding over my grocery store. The people who worked there though were really nice and the kids enjoyed the expirence although I couldn’t...

Very nice farm to produce stand. Just found this place on an errand. Very nice people the place was very busy compared to other produce stands we have been to. It was a Sunday so good for them. We purchased some corn .66 an ear, little pricey but everyone I shucked was very nice, unlike the supermarket corn. We got some fingerling potatoes, vine riped tomato's, and very nice broccoli. We are definitely going to come back, sorry supermarkets fresh from the farm is in. We would highly recommend Mayneland Farms to all that value locally...
