I lived in RI for 43 yrs , born and raised , it has some of the most beautiful coastal scenery you'll ever see . .theres so much to do in this tiny state that you'll wish u lived here , and nevermind the endless miles of beach front to explore .. newport mansions , btw the food is amazing, and u can find a person from every corner of the world in RI ...its a hidden gem ...so if ur passing thru , make sure u...

An outstanding piece of history… until you enter inside it. Lots of graffiti. But nothing a 10 gallon drum of muratic acid can’t fix. The views are amazing. Nothing against the state, I just wish folks wouldn’t have tattooed the place with spray paint. In spite of that, it’s still well worth your venture. Parking is rough if you want to park close. But if you can squeeze in, you’re golden with only a...

This place is so fun! The trails are well maintained and easily accessible from the parking spot. The main trail is gravel with light slopes making it easy to traverse. Getting down to water level is a little harder but the roughly 2 mile stretch is beautiful. The ruins are are the end of the trail overlooking a pristine sand beach. As with anything on the coast it’s a bit windy. Perfect for an short...

Iconic Rhode Island landmark, the ruins are easily accessible via Scarborough Beach and the Black Point Trail system. This is a great spot to take some photos. Both inside and outside are overrun by plants, and the vines running up the walls and through doorways and windows are really cool in my opinion. Hanging around really makes you think what it used to be, and what the area used to be like.

A short, fun way to spend some time off the beaten path. The ruins are neat to look at and explore. The trails well worn, and the rocky beach was fun to mess around on. Definitely need good shoes and balance. But there are some fun prizes for your effort!
