Not sure if the people leaving 5 Star reviews have ever been to a haunted house but I have honestly never been so disappointed in one so much! Upon arriving we encountered 2 young ladies that were terrified to go in and asked could they walk with us. While waiting in line the ā€œscareā€ guy with the black face that had the chainsaw got annoyed I wouldn’t let him close to the young ladies. He reaches up and literally sticks his finger down in my right ear and wiggled it around. He then proceeds to tell my husband and I (after my husband firmly told him to get his hands off of me) that they are allowed to touch us. I’m sorry, but no where on the ticket does it say they can touch you. There were several encounters with others in line that told him to not touch their girlfriends /wives. That is something that needs to be addressed because he’s going to end up touching the wrong person and cause a fight or someone to get hurt. The two young women were terrified over that and ended up leaving. After being half way through the haunt I told my husband they could have handled it because it wasn’t scary at all! Not many actors, it was mostly mechanical props. Extremely disappointed in the maze, the fog was so thick you couldn’t breathe. We miss the days of actual scares in a haunted house, people jumping out when not expected. Heck, we went to a smaller scaled haunted house in Horse Cave, Ky last year and didn’t spend nearly as much and left pleased. This place isn’t worth the time nor money, find somewhere else to go. Note to readers: not a fake review, we’ve been going to haunted houses for years and we miss the days of them actually being fun! Last year we had a blast at Raven’s Cross in Cave City, Kentucky (I correct my error on which city but there is a Horse Cave). The recent ā€œover the topā€ houses do not compare to The Haunted Prison (Nashville), the original Slaughter House and the Haunted Woods. Do better Nashville, yes the props were good but that’s all they are if there isn’t someone hidden in the corner to jump Out and scare the crap out of you. Learn what a good maze is without trying to kill your customers. The haunted prison maze would take people an hour to get out Of. There was also one I believe it was at Nashville shores that you kept coming back to the same area trying to figure your way out because there were multiple doors to choose from. We did tell multiple people about finger man, what yall do with that is on you but you better keep him under control before someone’s husband takes him out.

I give them a 2 because of the props outside making me believe it was gonna be awesome. This is a get em in get em out get rich quick scheme. Load em in and out like cattle one right after another no spacing really. They didnt do the money back challenge this yr so Im hopeful that when covid is under control it is way more exciting than what it was. Ive been going to halloween haunted events for 24 yrs. I dont know how beast house is usually without covid restrictions but yeah def a waste of money we did the vip fast pass the line waited about 4 minutes in the rain while most of general admission had a tent over them lol. It was 4 mins compared to 22 mins to wait vs the VIP. so we get ready to go in and Im assuming we are spaced out enough. Wrong oh so wrong. So by the time we get to the second little room weve caught up with the group before us (which got all the good scares) I get bumped behind me so the group behind us had already caught up behind us. I was so disappointed. So being in the middle of 2 groups our 80 bucks was pretty much wasted. Not near enough jump scares. Little holes in the walls for people to peek a boo you not actually jump scare you. After the house you go through this part outside with metal chain linked fenced lol okay we see you buddy you cant jump and scare us we see you. The actors were sitting on the ground mostly and just patting your leg with the foam lights you "need" to buy cause it's so dark lol no do not buy the light. Its a waste of money. I had it stuck in my shirt hitting my self in the face with it getting my own scares cause I forget I had put it there. Come on now yall can do better then this. Its reputation proceeds itself. I am a expert haunted house goer and this just didnt do it for me sorry. The space in the house is so open you can see the next room and the light so you can actually see whats coming next. Dont waste your money if you are a hard core haunted house person. If you are kid yes this would be fun if youre like in high school still and wanna stand in line to hang with your friends. Its a good beginner haunted attraction. Space out more I seen alot of reviews of the spacing issue. As a customer we want to be able to see and experience the hard work thats been put into the house. Not running and rushing through. The props were awesome and it really has potential.

My 11 year old son and I are haunted house connoisseurs. We have visited the best all over the Southeast and Beast House is a good scare. What differentiates Beast House from others is that scare actors will touch you. They're not grabbing or hitting, but just enough to make it creepy. The second haunt is unique in that it contains dense fog making it nearly impossible to see. Just when you get acclimated a scare actor pops out, or something casually rubs against your leg. Nashville has other haunts with better props, but there are short lines (we went on a Saturday night the week of Halloween) and I like the authenticity of the backstory, whether it's true or not. 5 stars - will be back again. This ranks next to Nashville Nightmare, slightly above Slaughterhouse, but below Atlanta's Netherworld. The costumes are decent but not quite as good as the top haunts. We were in and out in 90 minutez. This was the only haunted house that charged parking ($5).

Fun Haunt! I do recommend however.... I would definitely pass on the Cabana add on. "Drinks" in the Cabana consisted of cans of coke and sprite in a kiddie pool full of barely chilled water. They had little Debbie cakes and u could make a smore. Hardly $28 worth. The only fun part of the Cabana is they have some TV screens w buttons and you get to mess with the ppl going thru the haunt. That was fun but also definitely NOT worth $28. I think using the word Cabana in this setting is very mis leading. We expected a bar or something. I don't think I've EVER been to anything called a Cabana in my life that only had luke warm coke & sprite. They didn't even have water. Personally I don't drink sodas. The main haunt is really cool. Darker than others but that added to the creepy essence. The actors were great. The 2nd part of it "Chaos" is a maze that is FULL OF FOG. Like SO MUCH FOG you literally cannot see more than a foot in front of you. You have to breathe this intensely thick fog the whole time. We saw several ppl who couldn't take it. If you have any breathing issues I would definitely avoid this part. They should kind of give a heads up as to what this IS considering what it is. The beast jump would be fun if your 12 not nearly high enough to get a thrill for us. Cute to watch kids trying to do it though. We didn't see anyone doing the beast challenge or watching since there was no one to watch. So glad we didn't do those ad ons or they would have been a bust too. The giant inflatables there are only 6 I think was a bit silly. Good for kids I guess but this haunt is not really for little kids I don't think. Haunt is cool, Cabana add on was a rip off. Name mis represents it they should call it something else. When you advertise a Cabana and "drinks" in the Cabana your not thinking luke warm coke or sprite. $28 for that?! Really? I would definitely do it again but just the main haunt and I would skip chaos again also. I would do it if it was HALF as long maybe but that was just WAY too much breathing that junk. Staff was friendly actors were scary. I will say the actor in the line was kinda a creep. Not in a good way. Only targeting and messing with girls he thought were attractive. It was kinda obvious and kinda creepy in the wrong way. Overall a great alternative to the corporate Nash...
