In the past, I visited this park on a regular basis. Nowadays, I don't visit it as often. Cedar Hill Park is a good park don't get me wrong. But there are some issues that have made it hard for me to embrace it as I once did. In the past, I would walk and run around the entire park using the road since there are no dedicated walking/running paths. This has become a safety issue because of the large amount of vehicle traffic that is constantly speeding through the park. I do not feel comfortable allowing my kids to ride their bikes while I walk or run around this park. It seems people come here just to speed around the park and do nothing else. If you come early in the morning, you can get a good run. Anytime in the afternoon you can forget it. A plus for this park is that there are plenty of softball/baseball fields. There are tennis courts as well as a frisbee golf course and plenty of space to kick a soccer ball. A minus is that there are no basketball courts and the pond is filled with turtles. The ducks are okay, but I've never seen anyone catch any fish from the pond. This park has plenty of places to have cookouts and there are two play areas for kids that I am aware of. I've also noticed that there is an off road bike trail that people can use. Overall this park is pretty good. I would like to see some basketball courts and a dedicated walking/running path along with an exercise area similar to Nashville Street Workout Park. Then it would be a better park in my humble opinion. Thank you...

I recently visited Cedar Hill Park in Madison and had a fantastic experience. The park is beautifully maintained and offers a wide range of amenities for people of all ages.

One of the highlights of Cedar Hill Park is its expansive walking trails. The trails are well-marked and provide a peaceful and scenic environment for a leisurely stroll or a brisk jog. I enjoyed exploring the park's natural surroundings and taking in the fresh air.

The playgrounds at Cedar Hill Park are top-notch. They are clean, safe, and offer plenty of fun activities for children. My kids had a blast playing on the slides, swings, and climbing structures. The park also has picnic areas with plenty of seating, making it a great spot for a family outing or a picnic with friends.

Sports enthusiasts will appreciate the sports fields available at Cedar Hill Park. Whether you're into soccer, baseball, or basketball, there are well-maintained fields and courts for you to enjoy. It's a great place to gather with friends for a friendly game or to join a league.

Overall, Cedar Hill Park in Madison is a fantastic recreational space. Whether you're looking for a peaceful walk, a fun-filled day with the family, or a place to play sports, this park has it all. I highly recommend visiting Cedar Hill Park if you're...

DO NOT COME HERE.. This park is extremely UNSAFE!!! My 18 year old daughter and I came here to ride the new mountain bike trail after a local bike shop recommended it to us. Seconds after taking our bikes down off the rack a big burly woman jumped on one and took off, some how my daughter chased her down before I could even react, she fell off of the bike and took off running. Then a man got out of his car to see if we were okay (this is after everything happened, lots of people watching, no one tried to help us). The guy told us he comes here to eat lunch on his lunch break from Lowe’s often and that he’s seen some crazy stuff here and he doesn’t even ever get out of his car because he doesn’t feel safe here. And he was a big dude! Biking here is not worth the risks! ...

All together it'd a pretty nice park, the pong and the space plays a big part of this though. The front playground I didn't really like, and the one in the back is small but it is cute for littler kids and closer to the pond so makes it pretty but the swings are kinda a far walk just for a kid to want to play and then swing for 2 minutes then play again. But I do love the pond, I found it very fascinating when we fed the ducks, there were about 15 turtles, big and small, that swam over to eat the bread too. That was pretty cool and beautiful.

The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA) stocks the Cedar Hill Park pond with Trout in December and January. I caught five Trout on 12/09/2022—lots of fun. You can visit the TWRA website for the stocking schedule. By the way, you need a Tennessee fishing license, and depending on your age; you may also need the additional Trout license, which helps fund the Trout stocking program in Tennessee

not too much to play on in regards to the playground! if you're into soccer or disc golf then this park would suit you more! they did have these cool scooters that you could rent, that were pretty inexpensive! ($1.00 to start and .15 a minute) anyhow.. the neighborhood seems to be a nice neighborhood, when you look around. there was a wide range of ethnicity!! so that was great!!😊
