Mixed experience overall with the water park. My pre-teen daughter had a blast which was the most important thing, but I'd hesitate to return under the same conditions. Pros: Outstanding lifeguards. They were kind, attentive, and exceptionally well-trained. They really set the tone for the whole park. The rides themselves were alright. Nothing that blew us away but they were all mostly fun. The "Wibit" lake floating attraction was by far my favorite. It is neat to have both the traditional water park as well as the lake and the beach combined. Cons: Not a good value for what this park is. It was around 90 bucks for just my daughter and I after fees, parking, and tickets...and this was weekday pricing. The park is too small and the attractions are not up to standard of the admission they are charging in my opinion. And, as you would expect, food and drinks inside of the park are astronomically expensive. The biggest problem was the number of people. The parking lot was a nightmare, the lines were horrible to do anything...from getting into the park, to getting a simple drink, to going on just about any ride. The park is way too small for them to be cramming so many people into it. And they had signs up to maintain six feet of distance from other guests LOL. More like six inches if you are going to fight your way into the wave pool or lazy river. My daughter had to come out of the wave pool because she was getting jostled around by other guests and it was just too crowded. We left at about 2:30 PM as the park had just gotten out of control. Also, many areas of the park just feel old and run-down. Several areas had clearly been renovated, while other parts were lagging behind. I would be interested in going back if I knew the crowd was going to be lighter, and if I could score a discount on the tickets. Otherwise this might have been my first and last trip to Nashville Shores.

We stayed in our RV for 9 nights in July. We arrived after the office closed, (it closes early), approximately 6:30. No problem though an envelope with our name and site was waiting. We were in a pull through site across from bathroom. Terrible spot. Super loud from about 6 am til just after dark. Music from water park and screams, constant vehicles and kids, airplanes. And bright light. Sites are all very close together. Kids and adults were blowing past our site non stop on electric scooters, way too fast and no safety gear. An accident waiting to happen. A few days in we moved down near the water where it was quieter. We lasted 1 day there before the park asked us to pull off for the day for them to cut a tree down that they knew needed to come down before they sent us to the spot. We could not move back to that site that night as we had tickets to a concert and had to leave before they finished. We stayed on the site we moved too next as we were also tired of moving. It had zero privacy, site 10 and felt like we were camped on the side of the road. Could not use fire pit as was too close to trailer. Picnic table was at rear of trailer. Terrible spot. Staff was unapologetic when they asked us to move and at that time offered no compensation. After leaving the park, we did get an email with a refund for part of our stay and that did make things right. We did use the shuttle into Nashville a couple times. Both drivers we had were very pleasant. For a couple it is reasonable, but we figured out part way through a trip for four of us, Uber was cheaper. The shuttle last pick up in Nashville is 9. For concerts, etc that was too early. Some of our party used the water park after 1. Nice inside and lots to do. However it closed for about 1 and half hours due to weather and closed at 5, so they felt they didn’t get their money worth. Beach is very small and a bit yucky. No pool. Hot week and only way to cool was pay for water park. We used the laundry. Price was reasonable, clean but machines were old. Dryer needed more than 1 cycle for a medium size load. We did not use the rest rooms. Staff in store was very helpful our first day and able to answer our questions about Nashville. We felt this campground is well suited if your plan and destination is the water park but if you are looking for a longer stay, especially in summer heat, a park equipped with more quiet, privacy and pool...

The last time I visited this park it was almost 20 years ago. I have to say, this place has fallen. It's not even a shadow of what it was. To start. Bathrooms. Completely disgusting!! Looks like they are never cleaned or maintained. Urine on seats and floors. What looks like feces on toilets. Doors do not lock, locks are broken. Some toilet lids are broken. I wouldn't walk in these bathrooms without shoes and make sure to have strong thighs. I suggest hovering. I would NOT allow my kiddos to go into the bathrooms alone. Second: HORNET and WASP nest EVERYWHERE!!! While waiting to go down the slides in line, hornets fly around you continuously!!! And when I say everywhere, I mean EVERYWHERE!! On the side of beams, under railings, under platforms, side of posts, etc. At one point we were less then 3 ft from one. We decided for our safety, we were not going down the slides. The hornets are completely out of control. They are also under the ceiling where the lockers are. Just out of control. Ridiculous. Half of the slides were closed as well, so for the price we paid. The slides should have been open. This place overall looks run down and poorly maintained. The chairs look like the exact same chairs that were there 20 years ago. Falling apart, faded, extremely dirty, bird poop and other brown weird stuff on them. I don't feel like they are ever cleaned or replaced. There is only a few shaded areas to sit. MOST areas have not shade. We fried in the sun. We tried to stay wet, but the sun just cooked the water right off. The children's play area, kids were running over other kids, even the little ones. I watched several kids get hurt and there wasn't very good monitoring from the life guard. Kids were stacking up inside the tunnel slide and it was complete chaos. I could say so much more about this place, but I feel I would never stop. The only good thing about this place was the lazy river. That's it. I will never return to this place. Our experience here was a bad one. I was SO excited to come back to this place, now I will never return. This is justbour experience. Hope yours is better. They really need to invest $$$ and fix this place back up, CLEAN OUT THE HORNETS AND...
