TCAN is, quite possibly, my favorite concert venue. I've been to 3 shows here, and each time the experience has been wonderful. Starting with convenient parking, pleasant people working the doors, comfortable seating with plenty of leg room, great sight lines, this place provides everything I'm looking for at a concert. It's a small space, which means that there probably isn't a bad seat to be found, and the old firehouse location has been beautifully renovated. I live out of state, but regularly find that great acts are playing here, seemingly whenever I visit - so whoever does their scheduling deserves a shout out. I could rattle off a dozen reasons why I would not want to attend a concert at a basketball arena - but TCAN gets everything right.

I had the pleasure of seeing Mary Fahl in this intimate and comfortable venue. I was grateful for both the mask and vaccine policy because social distancing was not possible. My only issue was with the sound. Seemed as though a lot of changes were going on especially at the start as the volume was very high but came back to something more sensible. Later in the show the reverb was up when the artist asked for more reverb on her monitor but they seem to apply it everywhere. Parking is plentiful about 1 minute walk away in the town lot. Parking is free after 5 pm. I've been to many events at this venue and I can recommend it highly.

Saw the 50th anniversary showing of the Beatles' Yellow Submarine. One of the animators who worked on the film was a special guest prior to the film. It was really a nice addition to the experience. The film looked and sounded fantastic. There was art work from the animator on display downstairs to view or purchase before and after the movie. Great experience.

Went here to see the Smithereens with Marshall Crenshaw. Excellent show as always. The venue is nice. Very intimate setting. Wasn't exactly thrilled with the seats we had. It was on the side of the stage so sound quality wasn't great and the band members didn't really have an opportunity to face that side of the stage. I would not sit there again. A bit confusing as to the seating arrangements. People were actually sitting in our seats (same row) not that it would have made much difference but would have liked to be in the seat I paid for instead of being told I was making a big deal out of nothing. Anyway, it was also very hot in there. There didn't seem to be much ventilation. Bathrooms...
