The Canopy — Attraction in Neosho

We absolutely LOVE our Canopy family! We have been attending since March and they have truly accepted us right off the bat! The first Sunday we attended we weren't really sure what to expect as we had been church shopping for a little bit, when we left that Sunday we knew we would be coming back again. Little did we know just how quickly we would fit into the Canopy family. They truly care about you and your family. Not to mention the Word is taugh so well to adults and children. I really enjoy pastor Jeremies sermons, but I will say, Wednesday nights have quickly become a favorite of mine! They are kid focused and adult friendly- encouraging us adults to be the children of God, and equipping the children to grow into the body of Christ!

I stumbled upon this church on a live stream one day about two weeks ago and it’s literally changed my life already.

I drove down on my way to Kansas City just because I felt led to check it out in person. I get there and randomly run into Jeremie, the head pastor. And he just poured into me so much, encouragement and insight. He even took me and my 2 year old daughter out to lunch and chatted with me for another hour and prayed for me.

This church is bursting with the Holy Spirit and I’ve never been treated so well by a pastor at any other church in my entire life. I can genuinely say that I made a real friend today at The Canopy and I feel like I can give him a call if I ever...

Music and worship where very good. the older guy that randomly started hugging my 11 year old as she made coffee.(NOT SO GOOD) That was a no go for us. I'm sure it was harmless but you never know so We walked out the back door...... Had a good talk with the Pastor and he set a couple things straight (all good things) and clued me in on a few things that have alleviated my fears. Truly I believe this to be a house of God and what happened was simply a misunderstanding I hope whoever ventures into this church feels welcome and loved. We for one will be back to get to know...
