The Sho Me Diner — Restaurant in Neosho

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant, and I must say it was one of the best experiences I've had in a long time. From the moment we walked in, the staff were warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere was cozy and intimate.

The menu was extensive and creative, with a wide range of options to suit every taste and dietary requirement. We started with the biscuits and gravy , which was absolutely divine. The flavors were bold and exciting, and the presentation was beautiful.

For our main courses, we opted for the the cowboy burger and the sunrise burger. Both dishes were cooked to perfection, and the flavors were rich and satisfying. The portions were generous, and we were able to enjoy every last bite.

The service was top-notch, with our server being attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. They were happy to offer recommendations and helped us choose the perfect pairings.

Ordered a Bratwurst meal, asked for jalapeno cheddar, also ordered fries for the side. The guy working kept talking to us complaining about how busy they had been and how tired he was. He locked the door behind us saying they were running out of food and need to close after we leave to buy food, turning a party of 12 away. He then came out and said sorry it will be longer because he forgot to put my wife's chicken strips on to cook, then he came and said he also cooked tots instead of fries that I ordered and wanted to know if that was ok. Mind you, we are the only ones in the place at this time. When we got our food, the chicken strips were overcooked and my Bratwurst was tough and no flavor, must have been a cheap brand. On a whim, my husband and I decided to drive to Neosha to try Sho Me Diner. The reviews I read stated that they had one of the best hamburgers so of course I had to see if it lived up to its name. Show me is such a cute little diner! We both ordered hamburgers. I ordered the crunchy cowboy and my husband ordered the breakfast burger. What I liked most was that the meat was fresh and hand-packed. Not those frozen patties! They came with a generous portion of some of the best shoestring fries! Afterwards was the best part though because they carry Anderson's ice cream. Fresh ice cream that is so yummy and creamy. Perfect for a hot day! Highly recommend the cotton candy and pistachio!
