Peking Garden Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Neosho

If you could give a place 5 stars for being the worse place in town, Peking garden would be it. When the new owners (non-asains) took over in April 2015, they made unsatisfactory changes that took away the restaurants reputation as a great Place to eat & family atmosphere. The new owners changed recipe favorites & made them unwanted, they raised the prices, watch your consumption on buffets & take outs, make u ask for rice (that use to accompany meals at a lessor price), are very rude to the average Joe but bend over back ward to accommodate "community members" to suck up, gossip about customers out loud, their restrooms have a constant smell of sewer, they never pay attention to refills, they limit certain buffet items availble so you choose less desirable items that have set & not been stirred all day & if that's not enough ?? The place is owned by a couple whom has children. That's great !!! But they allow & watch them run around the place playing & disrupting customers dining, plays with the food & utensils, screaming & running all over & the owner picks up her 4 year old kids & has them handing customers food to them thru the tiny drive through window, wetting the floor with mops during business hours while the mother/owner sets behind the register guarding every dime, playing games on her iPhone, eating cupcakes & has a stack of books to read piled up all over the counter. Last time I was there was just that, when the female owner was babysetting 3 other kids ages 4-8 (yes, in the restaurant) & letting them run a muck through out the place. Totally unprofessional & not at all the experience I want to have when getting out once week a want to enjoy a meal, company or a break from my own hectic life. Not too mention that most of the menus items are no longer...

If I could, I'd give zero *. I don't know how many reviews I've read saying they wish the old owners would come back. I'm the next one to say that!! I've ate here for the past 30 years (I'm 35) and loved it even though it's small. The food and service made up for the small offerings. That completely tanked when this couple took over.

Honestly, the woman up front, whatever her name is, is so rude. She must be miserable to constantly treat paying customers like crude.

The last time I went in here, the food was cold. When I asked if we could get a discount or something, the owner man shouted that I get out and never come back in front of everyone (like 2 others, if that). He actually cussed and said "Get the hell out of here!"

If I had the old owners phone number, I would tell them what a disgrace this place is now. I know they'd be ashamed they let...

I had rated this restaurant a 4 star review however went to this restaurant on 2 different times approximately about 2 weeks apart and the food was cold on the buffet and when it was pointed out to the waiter and he was handed the cold chicken chunks and his response was "I think you should probably go somewhere else to eat!" He then started talking a foreign language to the older man and he yelled from the drive thru "You Leave Never Come Back!!!" I then VERY Rudely asked "Your Kicking Me Out BECAUSE YOUR FOOD IS NOT AT PROPER TEMPERATURE?!?!?" REPORTED TO B.B.B. AND THEY STILL HAVE YET TO RESPOND..... THIS IS A FOOD HAZARD....
