Had an absolute blast at this beach with friends and our kids! The views of the Pacific Ocean are straight-up stunningâsuper scenic and peaceful. There are plenty of shallow spots for the kids to splash around safely, and our dog had a blast running free. After all the fun, we grabbed some ice creamâword of advice, stick to one scoop, âcause even the kid-sized portions are huge! Google map will guide you to a local park parking lot by the road. Follow the trail to a creek, then follow the creek for five minutes and your view will open up to the beach and island.
The beach is long and flat, perfect for a stroll or jogging. The shallow creek provides a safe place for kids to play. Water is very clear.
The small island is the perfect background for pictures. There are right amount of people on the beach, enough for you to feel safe meanwhile not crowded at all.
It's very relaxed and chill on the beach. I don't mind drop by this hidden gem again next time...
   Read moreNeskowin beach is awesome! Hawk Creek runs out to meet the Ocean and its such a cool spot to have the tide go in and out there! Sometimes the creek is small and you can cross it to get to the petrified forest on the other side. Or sometimes the water gets super deep and really high tide and fills in a ton of the beach. Also Proposal Rock is fun to climb up right there as well if the tide is low enough. On occasion the tide gets so low you can walk out to behind proposal rock which is also really neat.
