Proposal Rock — Local services in Neskowin

As a kid, my family came here every year for vacation. There is a stream that runs to the ocean that is nice if you have smaller kids. The stream is nice because you do not have to constantly worry that your 2 year old will be eaten by a giant wave. There are different lodging options so you should be able to find something that meets your budget/preferences. The beach is never crowded. Proposal Rock stands out from the end of the beach at Neskowin. The beach is less crowded than either Pacific City to the North or Lincoln City to the South. Proposal Rock is climbable but at high tide is surrounded by water. It would be safer to stay on top if you get trapped. Rip tides have been known to drag people out to sea from here. Beautiful and stunning sunset here. Proposal Rock along the backdrop of Neskowin Beach is worth a visit. Just thinking about this area makes me sigh with longing to return. Easy to access from Neskowin Beach State Park entrance. Beware of the GPS trying to take you through a private road close to Neskowin Ghost Forest. Make sure to head to public beach entrance.
