This was definitely a hidden gem. I've lived in the New Bedford area most of my life and had no idea this place was even here. It's such an amazing little spot to get away from the city life and just be out in nature to enjoy the beauty that is all around. Can't wait to see more flowers in bloom! This place is so cute! It's a nice surprise to find this in New Bedford!! There is a stained glass greenhouse that is absolutely beautiful. Took pictures of what flowers were blooming. There was a bamboo area to build a fort, which is great for kids. Can't...

Haskell 🪻Haskell, called “the king of topiary” and “an epic figure in American gardening,” gained international fame when he attracted the attention of Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis who asked him to help with her daughter, Caroline’s, wedding in Hyannisport, and Martha Stewart was also a frequent visitor (he also often appeared on her show) 🕑 HOURS: Free & Open to Public Sunrise to Sunset, 7 days a week. 🐶 No dogs or other pets are allowed on the property. 🅿️ Parking is located on the street on Shawmut Avenue.
