Salon V Beauty Lounge — Attraction in New Bedford

There is no amount of words that could properly describe the pure blood, sweat and raw talent these girls have. From my first visit, I felt comfortable immediately. I’ve had several visits since my first one in mid summer 2022 and with each visit, the talent gets better, the confidence shines brighter, the girls are giving what they’re designed to give: THEIR PURE EXPERTISE, WITH A BIT OF “GIRLLLLL, LOOK AT YOU, LOOK AMAZING, WHO YOU GO TO?” Honest to god this place is SUCH a safe space, it’s so homey and comforting but also chic and classic. It puts a whole new spin on getting your hair done or lashes done. Unsure what to get? They’ll patiently walk your through options. Never had lash extensions? They will extensively explain in detail the difference between hybrid lashes and non-hybrid style. Honestly, as someone who’s struggled most of their life with self confidence, I can proudly say every time I leave Salon V, I feel like America’s next top model. It’s truly inspiring and humbling and it gives you all the best vibes coming here. You leave feeling like a million bucks. Even the owner, yes THE OWNER, of Salon V is so intuitive with her clients she doesn’t just smile and say thank you, she ACTUALLY welcomes and listens to feedback from clients. All the ladies here know they’re never allowed to retire or move because I’ll follow them because they’re the ONLY ladies I trust in the beauty department. This has to be one of my favorite places. When I was 16 I wanted to go with a vivid hair color but unfortunately, due to the school dresscode it wasn't allowed and as the years passed I wanted to do it but I couldn't find a stylist to give me what I wanted. One day I was cashing a woman out at the store I work in and she had the hair I wanted and as I'm standing there my register crashed and I asked her. "I'm a hairdresser." she says so I made an appointment and when Bekki moved over to Salon V I went with her. A lot of times when I go to a new place I feel really uncomfortable but that has never been the case here. Bekki is really awesome,Vanessa is fanstic and everyone at the salon is so nice and kind. Even when my dog died Bekki and Vanessa both made a point of talking to me and when I got my new one they insisted on seeing pictures. This place is the place to go! When you walk in, you’re greeted properly of your appointment & then asked you if need a snack or beverage before starting. I always wanted my lashes done but I was always so scared. I had trinity who was AMAZING. She made me feel welcomed from start to finish. She took her time and made sure I was looking fabulous when I walked out🦋 I had the pleasure of meaning Lexi as well who complemented me on my lashes & made sure if I needed another appt to call them.
