Carriage Barn Arts Center — Attraction in New Canaan

The Carriage Barn Arts 🎭 Center is a New Canaan landmark located inside Waveny Park. It’s a remodeled stone building housing New Canaan’s nonprofit performing art group and an art gallery featuring some of the finest works of art and photography in the area. Of special note it’s open to the public with free admission and free parking at The Carriage Barn or in one of the Waveny parking lots. A 19th-century stone barn in Waveny Park houses this not-for-profit gallery and performing arts venue.

The Carriage Barn Arts Center showcases local and regional talent, putting on eight high-profile exhibitions each year, four of which are juried and four featuring members and invited artists.

Saw the photo show with friends. What a delightful place. Very cozy but with plenty of display space and plenty of light. Our host was a friendly and knowledgeable volunteer who took time to point out highlights of interest to us.
