Read moreDrove to New Holland to get a part for my daughters jeep. My husband works on it most of the time but also a friend of ours who owns a private garage does work when it involves a harder fix. Her turn signal was not working so our friend determined it to be a socket where light bulb goes into. He told me exact thing to ask for when I went there. I arrived and first problem was no parking near parts except one empty spot in between part delivery vans. I parked and walked inside to pick up part since I called about it earlier to see if they had it. I walked in and asked for specific part..it was called a "socket plug" for the drivers turn signal. I had a part number which my friend gave me but guy said it didn't match anything in his system. He went back and brought me a small plug in a plastic bag. I told him I wanted to take a picture of it to send to my friend who had the garage. He didn't open the package so I had to take a picture through plastic bag. My friend texted me back and said no..that wasn't correct part. So clerk proceeded to go to back again and bring me out another one. I sent a picture to my friend again and this was not correct one. So finally I asked my friend if he could go online and look up a Chrysler number..He did and I gave it to clerk. He went back again to look for it and walked back out,,didn't say a word to me and went into his computer and started typing something..By now I have been there for at least 30 minutes. I ask him If he found it and he says yes..it is in my pocket...instead of coming back to counter to tell me he had it..so darn rude!! He writes me out a slip and already charged me$42 for other one and says he will refund me and give me credit for it. I get home and check my statement and find that I got charged the $42 but no credit yet. Hopefully it will go in tomorrow. So my husband goes out to the jeep and tries to put on the part he gave me...and of course it doesn't fit so either he gave me wrong part or the number was typed incorrectly in his computer...now I have to go back and waste more time getting my money back and finding the correct part. I feel the clerk was rude and nasty..he wouldn't listen to me when I kept telling him it was a turn signal socket plug...is that so hard to look up And I do have the clerks name..just don't want to put it on my review because I am sure I have to deal with him again..only thing is I am sending my husband back up to return it and my husband IS NOT AS NICE AS ME WHEN HE IS LOOKING FOR A PART!! I feel if you are working in a parts department you should listen to what a customer is asking for!! Of course I went outside to get in my car and a man was there at my car waiting for me to move my car because I took his spot..well HELLO...there was no sign saying I couldn't park there. ...
I don't live locally, I actually live almost a couple hours away. In the past 8 years I have had horrible experience with the vehicles I bought with breaking down or the dealerships(in my area) were just out to scam me and take my money without things being fixed.
In June of 2021, I had enough and came back to where I grew up and went to New Holland Auto Group(I had gotten 2 vehicles back in 2008 and 2010 from N.H.A.G) and bought a 2015 jeep compass through sales person Kevin Davis. Yes we're related not being bias or anything but he's the best salesperson ever!;) Anyway, with my luck with vehicles Kevin recommended I get Mopar Warranty on my vehicle. That was the best decision I ever made, even though I didn't have any problems with my Jeep compass until a few weeks ago and that warranty came in handy.
I had taken my vehicle to My local jeep dealership, but walked away very unhappy due to the fact they wanted me to pay for an aftermarket part and told me that the part I needed jeep no longer made but they lied. So I called Kevin and said that didn't make sense, he told me to contact the N.H.A.G Service department. I spoke with few different people and everyone I dealt with was amazing, friendly, and extremely helpful. The main person I dealt with in the service department was Will Houck. They told me they could get the part shipped in a day but would have to look over it first. So I drove back to New Holland, as soon as I got there I was greeted and helped immediately. Will had given me a loaner, and let me tell you I love that loaner. I know what I'm getting for my next car. Anyway, N.H.A.G, did end up fixing the car, and they honored my warranty like they're suppose to do and not once was I lied to about a single thing. I am extremely grateful for service and help that I've gotten in the last week and a half. I'm definitely going to continue to take the trip back to get my car serviced and to get my next vehicle.
Thank you to every single person I've dealt with at New Holland Auto Group, you all did an...
Read moreWe got a deal on a 2018 Jeep Cherokee that we couldn't pass up and buying the car was fairly easy however taking it in for service is an absolute nightmare. I took it in for a gear shift problem a total of 3 times. The first time I dropped it off when they opened and it turned out they didn't have the part. No one called to tell me that they were keeping my car. I had to call since it was the end of my work day and I didn't get any updates. The second time they called saying they had the part and we made an appointment for the next day. They didn't really have the part and I had to pick the car up again. Mind you, I start work at 7:00 am in Lancaster so I'm wasting a good hour and a half of my work day every time I take it to the shop and go through the rental business so I can get to work. Last time the manager called saying they really had the part and we set up another appointment the next day. This time the car was actually fixed and they called around 1 pm to tell me it was ready and for all the trouble, I could have the car delivered to my work before my shift ended and they would detail it for me. Great. The end of the work day comes and no one brought my car yet. Call the shop and my car is still there and guess what? It's not detailed. They promised I can bring it in for detailing later and I didn't receive any instruction on where to bring it or a paper to even show that it was owed. Since then I've had a flat and found out my car didn't have a spare. We fixed it no problem but I was curious why there wasn't one and had a question about our warranty. Called the dealership and left a message. No one got back to me and that was over a month ago. Now the inspection is due and I left a message about going to another shop in case there was warranty work that needed done. Still no call back. I'm so frustrated with this place. We will not be buying another vehicle from them and thanks to my dad for telling me I can take it to another Jeep dealer for service, I'll be making shop...
