Easy trail for the family. Word of caution with toddlers, go directly to the springs (left at the fork) the trail is easy, flatish and shaded. Otherwise, it’s a long walk in the sun w/o much shade. See my photos for evidence. Toddlers can do the whole hike, but the trail is rocky and uneven, so I wouldn’t advise it unless they’re experienced hikers and you have plenty water and patience.

Personally, I wouldn’t swim in them—go to McCaughly Hot Springs in Jemez instead. All in all, this is an amazing area that anyone...
