Western Mercantile Inc. — Local services in Tijeras

Today I went visited Western Mercantile in Tijeras for the first time. Out of habit and convenience I’ve always gone to TSC. But today marked the third time going there and them not having what I needed, so I decided to make the trek to Tijeras to see what Western Mercantile had to offer. Not only did I find the items I truly needed, but I was also welcomed with shared poultry knowledge for alternatives to non-vital items on my shopping list. It was so wonderful to walk into such a clean, organized and well stocked feed and supply store. I asked if they had straw for mulching garden beds and they said yes and I bought 5 bales for my garden. Photo shows what they gave me. This straw would be fine for other purposes but is FULL of seeds as low quality straw tends to be. Unfortunately I trusted that it was good for gardening and covered my beds in it.
