GF wanted to go there and that made me nervous! Not sure which one of us was going to play "lover"? Not to worry, neither one of us was going to leap. It is an excellent view. There are many kiosk plaques giving the history of the bridge. Google it I won't go into detail. I will just share some pix for you to decide on a visit.

Admission: Free Parking We took the trail that led up to a beautiful cliff. It is very high and young children need to be monitored. The view is breath taking and lovely. The hike is short but exciting. The bridge is beautiful and sits above a river. A nice quiet place to get some rest and relaxation along side nature!

A lovely spot to stops and take in the views from the bridge. Though really only from one side, as the other has a view of the highway bridge. The hiking trails on either side on the bridge, which are part of Lovers Leap State Park, are wonderful.

This is a very interesting place to go visit. It’s got more local history than what I ever expected. I really enjoyed the walk and the park.
