Harrybrooke Park is a 48 acre park located in New Milford. It's on the Still River and once belonged to a couple named Elizabeth and Frank Harden; they donated it in 1965. The house on the property that was built in 1941 is now a museum. There is a paved trail along the river, it has beautiful views and it's short at 0.75 miles. There are trails, meadows, wetlands, a garden, and pavilions. We visited for the Easter egg hunt event. They did a great job with dispersing the Easter eggs around for the kids. The park was large and gorgeous, perfect for events like that one. The trail was nice; however, there was a creepy dilapidated shack on it. I heard that they do a haunted trails event in the fall, which I am interested in going!

Well kept park, only downside is dodging Geese (and their poop). Trial is paved and flat. Excellent for any athletic ability. Facilities are well maintained. Excellent place for small to mid sized gatherings.

Came for the waterfalls, stayed for the Peacocks. Make sure to look at the map at the front entrance as the layout can be a little confusing.

We recently held our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour on the patio of the Harrybooke Park and Harden House Museum on 6/1/24 for an intimate group of 20. Arielle, Billy, and the whole team were incredibly helpful, attentive, and easy to work with when curating their beautiful space for us to spend an afternoon overlooking the river and verdant foliage of the property. What can easily become a stressful planning process was truly a dream, and we could want for nothing. On the day of our event, Arielle jumped right in to make sure everything ran smoothly, and we are very grateful to her.

The building itself is beautiful - a historic home with a charm you just can't find anywhere else, on grounds that are immaculate and meticulously maintained. Each of our guests was "wowed" by the beauty of this local gem, and we couldn't imagine having our special day...

Harry Brooke is a great park for walks by yourself or with family or even kids. It’s great for bike riding and rollerskating as well. It’s always beautiful to walk to the swans and the geese and if you’re lucky you might see a turtle crossing your path it is not a dog park so unfortunately, you cannot be your furry friend, but you can also rent out the pavilions for parties and they do have pair of peacocks that are...
