Being that I booked my flight about less than 36 hours from touchdown in NYC, I knew getting a hotel stay was going to be a challenge. But 7 Days Hotel...well they answered my cry of HELP. This Hotel is The Greatest!!! After an Overbooking at the hotel I was supposed to stay at told me when I went to check in... My brother got me a room at around 2:30 in the morning, and then booked the room for the following day. This hotel is My Knight in Shining Armor. The lobby of this hotel is super clean, and it has a security guard on duty for your safety. Though you wouldn't need one, but it's best to have it and not need it, then...well you know. Vending machines for snacks and drinks, and take out menus in case you want food delivered...which I did. On the 2nd floor... Ice machine, microwave and an Air Fryer. Tables are present, but I didn't see any chairs. I guess you eat in your room. There is even a small medical machine that is supplied with and for anything that ails you. My room wasn't too small or wasn't too big. Comfortable bed. The bathroom... I liked that there was a soothing light surrounding the very large mirror. I am one for soothing lights instead of a harsh overhead light. I spent about 8 minutes trying to figure out how to turn the shower on. Found out how after using the ice bucket to rinse off. You have to turn the ring where the water comes out into the tub. There was a sign right below the showerhead, but I couldn't make out what the 2nd of the two signs said. The Staff... Usually at hotels at 2 in the morning are crumpy and don't like to be bothered. Not the person behind the counter at this hotel. I felt like he was waiting for me the whole night. He made my check in pleasant. I woke up at around 11am, washed my face and went to the front desk. I sent a text last night to the person who booked the room for me...that he had to book my today's stay in my name, and not his. It's the details that make everything go right. The woman at the desk asked me did I need room service or was their anything else that she could help me with. All I needed was the password to the wifi, which she kindly gave to me. This hotel is off the highway with family homes right besides it. The only sounds are those of the traffic on the highway. Once it twice during my stay I heard room doors slamming. The doors are free swinging, and don't close automatically...which is good. I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. I slept well and wished I had another stay, but I had to go back to Virginia. A +++ to the Staff who made my stay enjoyable.

This hotel is alright. I've gone here twice for short stays (two to three hours each time). The parking lot in the back is small and can be a bit hectic, but I suppose that depends on the time and day you go. The main entrance appeared clean, plus it had two vending machines. Check-in was quick both times and IDs are required for each guest, which is good for safety. The carpet in the halls looked like it had a few stains. In the room itself, both times there was at least one flickering light. Not sure if that was just my luck or if it's always like that. Both rooms offered heating and cooling features, TVs, and a mini fridge, which was great. The beds were clean, with comfortable pillows and tightly wrapped blankets. The bathrooms had the same design but I really liked them. The shower was large, the mirror big and bright, and there were a few complimentary items. It was also very clean both times, with even the garbage cans being empty. In total, it's not a bad place for a short-term stay, but there are a few things to work out for their customers.

Horrible!!! Horrible!!! I have no words to describe this hell hole!! For starters, they said the room was not under my husband’s name yet the reservation shows his name plain as day. The images I attached are of them just checking in. I have attached images for everyone to see what the room looked like that they were checked into today. Not only does it reek of smoke but it was dirty. The carpet is dirty and the desk in the room does not seem as though it has ever been cleaned. The bath has mold or much in the groves. I am beyond livid. For $20 more I would have gotten them much better rooms at a more reputable hotel.

I arrived at 11 pm after a flight, with an interview next morning, and was told by the front desk there was no hot water, and that Expedia should have sent me an email about this. When I pointed out I hadn't booked through Expedia, I was vaguely told that, you know, all booking sites actually go through Expedia so I should have gotten an email. (???) In any case, I was exhausted enough to convince myself I could survive a cold shower, as I really just wanted to go to sleep. Sadly, that was only the start of my problems. The hallway smelled of smoke and my room positively reeked of it, with an ashtray on the nightstand, despite my room key stating "non-smoking." I went down to the front desk and asked for a room that was actually non-smoking, and was given another room key. The biggest thing the next room had going for it was that it smelled less like smoke than the hallway (not saying much). Still had an ashtray on the nightstand. There were hairs in the sheets and on the towels. The walls were thin and I heard road noise and people yelling to each other down the hallway all night. (Despite this, I never saw a single other guest.) After I took the coldest shower of my life the next morning, I discovered that the rubber bath mat and the bathroom floor became sticky when wet. Oh, and if you're looking for any sort of amenities, don't expect to find them. No iron or ironing board, no hairdryer. Looking at the Google reviews (which I should have done long before), the hot water issue has been going on for over a month now. Over a month! Honest to god, I should have asked for a refund or discount, but wasn't ballsy enough to do it. I just wanted to get to sleep and get to my interview the next morning with a minimum of fuss. Sadly, I barely slept. I should have given up on whatever I spent on this "hotel" and taken a cab over to the Marriott the instant I realized what I was getting into. If I could give zero stars I would.

P.S. There is a banner hanging over the front of the hotel now proclaiming it a Days Inn, and no sign anywhere of it being called the 7 Days Hotel, in case you wanted the entire experience to...

First off i wanna say Honestly this isn’t a bad hotel to stay at . The problem is the staff . They pick and choose when they want to follow rules and regulations. That hotel has had so many parties with minors walking in and out throughout the rooms booking 2 - 3 rooms just for party fun with loud music drinking and smoking plus more . There’s never a problem with that to that extent . They even will give you the back rooms to do such things . But when someone actually needs a place to stay they can’t accommodate to your needs . To be specific everyone knows the ID rule . Can’t book a room if your under 21 . Granted , but when you choose to let minors in and book you automatically contradict that rule . Ive even attended so many parties here and I’m underage . So when my cousin needed a place to stay for 2 days coming from out of state I suggested this hotel and they would not accommodate with him at all . I just find it funny . And I’d love to report this place for indecency . And failure to provide a safe environment. If you’re going to make a rule stick to it . Don’t pick and choose when you want to follow . That’s when discriminatory behavior shows . I’m lightskin and book there a lot . And do whatever in them rooms . My cousin is dark skin and can’t book . Like I said i just find it funny . This hotel needs to be better and do better . The manager is hard to find before 4 pm he’s unreachable . My number was provided to him and he refused to reach out . The madam at the desk was no help . Where do ya get these people from to get these jobs honestly . It’s the picking and choosing . Mind you my cousin is 19 like come on now but will let a 17 year old book with no...
