This review was 9 months ago and now I have a different taste about the service.
This happened around 2 or 3 months ago 🤷🏽♂️ It has been too many times I was overlooked after I paid and waited outside for 25 MINUTES (during COVID19) and 2 customers BEHIND ME (3 NYC Traffic Agents) were served after us BUT received their order and left WAY BEFORE US. 🤭😱😳...
Here’s the story 🤦🏽♂️🙄 I was waiting to get inside JFL way before the 3 traffics agents. They actually tried to skip the line but was told by (🤭not mentioning any names) they had to wait (I’m sure because people would had been very upset if they weren’t stopped), but they still was given special treatment. After I entered JFL, I waited to order and that took some time. After I ordered and paid, I was told to wait outside. At that time, the traffic agents entered JFL. I noticed after they ordered, they didn’t come outside to wait for their order. While I was standing near the door outside, I noticed all 3 traffics agents had been served and I ask them while they were coming outside from JFL, “do y’all visit Juices For Life everyday”. They said “No” 😱 I told them I was waiting outside for 15 minutes before I was able to get inside and waited another 10 minutes to order. I also said I was ask to wait outside due to COVID19 and the line outside (no problem). So I ask them do you think it’s fair that all 3 of y’all were behind me and weren’t ask to wait outside AND WERE SERVED WAY BEFORE ME AND THE 3 PEOPLE IN FRONT OF ME??? They didn’t say NOTHING... NOTHING AT ALL AND KEPT WALKING LIKE THEY SHOULD but they did shrugged their shoulders and walked to their on-duty traffic vehicle. I should had filmed the entire ordeal. So after waiting and waiting outside, the 3 in front of me were served and I’m thinking I’m next 😳... NO, they totally forgot about me, so I entered JFL and told them it’s ok and to keep the money. Why I said keep the money, a few weeks before that day, I ordered over the phone and I couldn’t make it due to my vehicle serpentine belt ripped off the tensioner and so I was stuck on the highway and not in a safe spot. 2 days later I visited and apologized. I wanted to pay but they said “no and that’s ok, but I couldn’t order over the phone again (as per the manager told me🤭😳). I was shocked 😮... Why, because on many occasions, my order was wrong. I told him this and his reply was, “Did you pay for it?” I said “Yes”. He said “it wasn’t me and you shouldn’t had paid for it” 🤭😳 I couldn’t believe his reply but I let that go because I messed up when I couldn’t make it.
So I always remembered that incident and started giving more in tips. Plus, I always make sure they see me adding a tip to the plastic container. 😳
BUT it’s unfortunate that I had to write this UPDATED review and some will say, why not call and ask to speak to the manager. NO, I didn’t want to hear the same story over and over again and it will be very uncomfortable. Let the owner see this review and it might help make changes. Plus, I’m tired of the distractions in JFL. I love music, but when I have to yell out my order and they get it WRONG numerous times, it’s not a good feeling anymore. My last visit was the straw that broke the camels 🐪 back and just for that, I’m not coming back. 😔
Not too long ago, I found another smoothie spot and I’m VERY VERY SATISFIED...😃

From my experience the two types of juices I drank were both bad tasting because they were made in such a rush. One of them actually got me sick, but I didn't know that was on my part for being allergic to certain vegetables. The reason I'm giving this business one star is because of the lack of good customer service skills. The moment I asked one of employees that I didn't really like the juice he threw a fit. (He's the brown young man who is flamboyant) He had the nastiest attitude, I felt like I wasn't being nasty nor speaking down to him. I simply asked to make the juice sweeter since it had too much ginger for me. Instead of him just fixing the issue he decides to whisper something to another employee so she can fix the juice. I personally felt like he was a clear example of why businesses in the Bronx can't aspire to grow. He's the face of the business and he simply can't be a professional. For what reason? It's not like you're doing a dirty job...
Read moreFirst off my man loves styles p so when we in the area we are pulling up no question 2 support and not just that but we are never disappointed. My experience yesterday was nothing shy of phenomenal. I went in 5 minutes b4 closing and to top it off it was my birthday. Originally they said they was closed but once we said it was my b day he said he would whip something up real quick for me. It was 4 of us so he said if we all got the same thing he would do it. When i say he hooked those right on up thats an understatement. The shakes was fire and he made them and answered questions with a beautiful smile. I hope I spell n say his name correctly but keshawn thank you. Ima call him Keke jus in case. Lol thanks for making yet another experience at juices 4 life amazing. So when you guys go im sure everyone is great but the gentleman that serviced us last night was so patient, Gave suggestions and made my night and come at least 10 minutes b4 closing.
