AAA Queens — Attraction in New York

Was planning a car trip with my out of state sister. (I am on Long Island,NY & she's from Ct.)Needed to locate a municipal parking lot (or some safe place) where we could meet up en route to leave one car behind and join up into the other to continue our trip in one car. I am typing this review live as I am being assisted. Its 15 minutes & so far I've been put on hold twice and joined up with a 3rd assistant. (meanwhile they are very nice). After 20 minutes in total the 3rd assistant accessed a park & ride for me and gave me the towns phone # so I could contact the town directly. It is now 35 minutes on the phone with the 3rd lady. She has changed her screens and routes a few times for me to accommodate questions. Very Very helpful, patient, courtious, not at all condescending. Really great experience. She found everything I needed & we did it within 35-40 minutes in it's entirety. When I tried to plan a different park & ride meeting place 2 weeks back it took me 3X that... at least 2 hours, probably 2 1/2+ hours. So this is definately a quicker way to go. Kudo's...

I called AAA to have a technician come and it was said technician Y1425 in queens named Carmen R was going to come. I needed my tire changed because I had a flat. A man appears and is like I’m here to take care of your jump start. I said no thank you that’s not my issue, thinking it was a stranger. He’s like oh I’m here for Carmen. I’m like oh where is Carmen. Then he has attitude and says you want me to help you or not so I declined and he went in his car. Please becareful. AAA should not be conducting business like this. If it says a man or a woman then that should be the person who comes. He didn’t say he was Carmen he said he was there for Carmen. As a woman who is alone I was scared and declined. He seemed mad and was rude so I let him leave. Then I call and they refused to send anyone to help me. The worse service ever. A man there wouldn’t even let me speak and say my side. Amazing experience at the AAA location in Whitestone this past Saturday while getting my International Driving Permit. I brought my 4-year-old daughter with me, and the entire visit couldn’t have gone smoother. As soon as I walked in, I found the application forms conveniently placed right next to the door. Even though I didn’t come with pre-taken photos, everything was completed within just 15 minutes—super efficient and productive!

The office was very clean, neat, and well-organized. The staff were incredibly friendly, offering warm greetings and smiling throughout the visit. They even gave my daughter some stickers, which made her day!

This is hands down the best office I’ve ever been to in terms of both service and environment. Just a heads-up—on Saturdays, they close at 2 PM, so make sure to get there before then. Highly recommend...
