I brought my dog there twice. First time Lora, groomed him very beautiful and we were happy. Second time when I brought my dog I had a pleasure to meet her. She did not seem nice at all. My husband and I asked her few questions about the grooming she looked at us like we are asking for weird things and I though : ok, she knows better. After I picked up my dog he was acting very weird, few hours later he was throwing up (we are giving him same food, so it was not a food poisoning) The next day he stop walking, 2 days later tears all day long. I brought him to our doctor. He immediately said his back is stretched and muscles are swollen which most likely after the grooming. So we ended up with steroids and antibiotics. I guess my heart felt when I was giving my puppy to Lora that something is going to happen! Dear Lora, my friend recommended me and I was pleased with your service ONCE! However after I met you, your attitude and most important what I had to deal with after the grooming is UNACCEPTABLE!

As a owner you lie right here in google review! I will tell you more, I will make sure to tell our friend who recommended you because they were bringing their dog to you spa for awhile! I did try to call you and left a voicemail! Nobody never ever called me back! Moreover , I can attach the receipt from your spa because we paid with credit card! Secondly, Loraās attitude, her demanding tone and looking at me like at dumb person just because I asked a question was extremely unpleasant. And yes, I was pleased when I saw how he was groomed but how do you think I felt later on when he was throwing up and the next day he stopped walking! How do you think I felt when our doctor immediately said the muscle was pulled and swollen and this is after grooming? How about that ?! And lastly, if you are an owner of the business instead of making discussions with me here, you should GIVE ME A CALL! Because I did call you, and you never returned my call back. At this point no need to discuss anything here because my next step is complain to Better Business Buro and Department of Health.

The latter visit, she came back with a rash/irritation on her inner thigh (not sure what caused it?). I decided to go back again for another grooming in a couple of months with high hopes which I instantly ended up regretting. I mentioned the previous rash/irratation to the staff, which thankfully they have acknowledged. However, that visit, which will be my last, for some apparent reason⦠it took them 4 hours to groom her. I did arrive 10 minutes late but they have a grace period of 15 minutes and I made sure to notify the staff and it was no problem. So⦠in no world it takes 4 hours to groom a small-size Pomeranian. Not sure what happened thereā¦..
Edit to reply to business owner's response: When I came to ask if Lucy was ready, it had already been well over 3 hours. It is unprofessional and disappointing for a business not to pick up their phone. I've called to ask if Lucy was ready and nobody picked up the phone.... When I stated "It's okay", I just did it to be respectful and not cause a fuss.... I already knew this was going to be my last time coming here because of the lack of communication and professionalism. Since you're mentioning time and you're looking through my reviews, I guess the common denominator is that all these business (including yours) don't respect their customers time...
I changed my original review from a three star to a one star due to the unprofessional and passive aggressive response. Also, it seems common that you avoid accountability in your responses to customers who have complained.

Not satisfied with the style of the grooming provided.
When I bought a dog for grooming, I made it clear that I wanted it groomed short. However, the dog was not groomed as I requested. Besides that, the length of the ears was not equal.
When I called the next day and asked to address the issues, I got rejection with a reason provided: āwe will need to groom the dog all over...ā
I am not coming back, even though the place is clean and the people who work there are nice.

First of all, I did give all the instructions to your son when he picked up the dog. If you feel the instructions are not detailed enough, you should be picking up the dogs yourself and not ask your son to do it if he is not well trained for it. Besides that, I also mentioned that this time I want the legs to be groomed shorter than you did it last time. However, you did it this time even longer then it was done before (two months back). Secondly, at the moment of grooming if you are not sure how short you need to groom, you have to call the owner (you have the phone on file) and verify this information. Finally, I did not notice the problems on the spot, but only when I came home and took a closer look. Then I called you the next business day (Monday) earliest in the morning, sine you were off on Sunday. I don't think washing a dog is such a big deal. It should not take more than 5 minutes of your time and it definitely should not be the reason you decline...
