Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in New York

I arrived 2 hours prior to closing and they were already shutting down. They stopped making frozen drinks and chicken nuggets (which is what we went for). When I asked the host Jean why they were out of so many things. She told me because “it was slow”. Completely unfair and unacceptable to the customers who are showing up. This Popeyes also did not have a kids menu, which I found odd because I have been to several Popeyes in Brooklyn that all have a kids menu. I ordered the tenders (please keep in mind I was never asked what sauce I would like) and when I asked for sweet heat of course they did not have it. I ended up going with the Mardi Gras sauce. I was given one sauce and Jean told me if I wanted another one I would have to pay for it. To top off this terrible experience the food was not fresh, cold and you could tell it had been sitting for a while. This is by far the worst service I have ever received, by very careless/nonchalant staff members. My son had an apple pie which he just spit out because there was a seed in it. (Who knows from where) Completely disgusted, this Popeyes should have stayed...

Omg my daughter bought two Popeyes sandwiches, 2thigh 2breast & a apple pie,we didn't ask for spicy the chicken it was disgusting too spicy & not cooked fully ,still pink, inside both sandwichs was disgusting, the bread was real greasy chicken broken in pieces,apple pie ok,omg I cried it was disgusting,I would never ever buy nothing ever again from Popeyes never ever again then my food was 30dollars & I had to pay 18cents each for some dam sause,for buffalo sause 2 & honey mustard 2 wow, no free sause, 1sause when you buy chicken nuggets so sad & they were very rude, they chicken is full of grease so disgusting, I just can't believe this, I will never eat outside food again especially popeyes, I feel bad for people who don't...

I JUST GOT DONE BUYING THE 16 PIECE TENDER FAM MEAL & IM DISGUSTED WITH THIS FOOD RIGHT NOW. THE PEOPLE WORKING THIS SHIFT UNDERCOOKED THE TENDERS, THE MAC N CHEESE ARE DRY AS HELL & IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A LARGE & THEY WERE HALF WAY FULL, THE MASH POTATOES TASTE WEIRD. THAT SHIFT NEEDS TO BE FIRED. FYI I JUST SPENT $65 ON ALL THIS FOOD. MY KIDS WERE CRAVING THIS TODAY JUST TO BE DISSAPOINTED.
