I moved to Elmhurst over a year ago, since I have moved here I have been going to this salon. Jackie is the only nail technician in that salon that is worth going to. I have been going to her for over a year now, but recently we had a disagreement. She canceled my appointment on the same day which happened to be my birthday. She canceled Without even the smallest apology. However due to our extended business relationship, I did not make a big deal About it. Fast forward to October, I made another appointment which she kept. However she did my nails and after she completed them, I did not like the designs she did on my nails. Therefore I asked her as a one time courteousy for a long time customer, could she just remove the designs and paint the nails a solid color. Jackie informed me that I would have to pay again, after I spent $85 on my nails. I did not get angry, I still gave her a tip and left the situation alone. Now it's November I tried to make an appointment on her StyleSeat website it went through and then all of sudden my appointment disappeared and then the website said she had no available appointments. I thought my my account was malfunctioning, So I created a new account and the same thing ended up happening. So I contacted StyleSeat's customer service support email and the customer service representative informed me that Jacqueline Pham had blocked me from creating any new appointments. So I was confused on why she would block me, so I contacted her Via text message asking her was there any issue I was not aware of and she never responded. Usually she responds in a very timely manner. So from one disagreement over a course of a year, She blocks a valued customer. Which is fine with me, I do not want to give my hard earned money to someone who does not want it and does not give me good customer service. Jackie's mother is the owner of the salon which is why she probably feels comfortable giving bad customer service. It is beyond immature, rude and ridiculous.
P.S. Her whole reply is false. One of the major False statements is when she claims I just started attending the salon 6 months ago. Jackie only started going by appointments on StyleSeat within the last 6 months. I never received any text messages informing me of any cancellations. She is not even pregnant and if she is, it is newly discovered. That may explain the irrational and emotional decisions Jackie has been making when it comes to business. However It is still unbelievable the things people will come up with to not admit their wrongdoings. It seems as she received a bigger clientele, the worse her customer service skills became. It is so ridiculous and immature. Instead of admitting when you're wrong and apologizing, you rather be dishonest and disrespectful. I could go on forever about the many distasteful actions Jacqueline has shown me, but I rather maturely move on from a horrible customer service experience. I have been getting my nails done since I was 10 years old and I have never experienced someone so blatantly disrespectful. Thank God I found a new respectful and great nail technician in...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went in today to my nails, mind you my nails were natural and healthy, coffin shape and long. I go to get a gel manicure and the girl starts already shaping my nails bad. Then I tell her which colors I want and puts two coats of the wrong color and puts the actual color I wanted on top š¤¦š½āāļø. Then when sheās finally done I really didnāt like it because she barely painted the sides. I go upstairs ready to pay and a different woman now tells me theyāll do it again if Iām not happy so Iām like okay cool. The new person that does it takes it off and then they send me to another person. Mind you I had an appointment! And the last girl who did it completely destroyed my nails!! I wanted to cry my eyes out fr this was the worst experience for me, I love my nails and always taken care of them. I wanted to go in and get a cute gel mani but I ended up with broken nails and they were so weak to the point that i could bend them. They would break when I touched it with my other nail. I only went to this place because a friend recommended but this was such a bad experience for me it broke my heart since my nails are my babies and I love them so muchš I am not going back to this place, not only did I get a bad gel mani but I also left with weak broken nails that I ended up cutting when I came home. As I was leaving the girl at the front told me sheāll do it personally but this was so dumb of her to say I was extremely mad and frustrated due to the conditions they left my nails in, she said sheāll do it herself And fix it with powderš¤¦š½āāļø. You canāt fix nails that are already weak and broken. Now I have to wait till my nails heal because the girl filed it up to the point that i canāt even touch my nails because the skin underneath hurts !!! It hurts so bad and now I donāt know what to do to make the pain go away, except wait till...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreCame here because of the outstanding reviews they had. And let me say I am beyond livid!! I came here on a Monday for a gel color change. On Tuesday afternoon my beautiful gel polish started peeling off. I said āokay maybe itās just the tip thatās peelingā by Tuesday night the entire polish started chipping on several nails. I called a few days later to see if they can fix the issue. Aparantly they have a 3 day policy for chipped polish after you get your nails done here. Maybe this happens often at this location. I go in on Saturday morning and of course they were busy. I tell the woman in the front who the exact woman that did my nails on Monday was, and the woman that did my nails Monday morning says no it was not her lol. I honestly thought the customer service was becoming a joke. After a 30 minute wait, the woman who attended me prior attends me again and fixes 4 nails. Now itās Saturday afternoon and the exact 4 nails that she fixed, the entire gel polish just came off. When they peel off, the base polish is still wet. I am extremely upset! Please if anyone goes here do not use wave gel polish and make sure they dry for exactly 1 minute if you do. I will never go back here again even if they offered to fix them for free again! $25 spent on a gel color change that hasnāt even lasted a week! Nice...
