Came to the playground on a cold but sunny day with my family and we had some fun. The playground is neat and behind it is the lawn tennis court. Playground is more appropriate for kids 5 and below with maybe just the swing for older kids. The McGuire field is an extensive field with areas to walk your dogs, some other baseball pitch etc. It’s got lots of potential and I can see myself coming back for some walk or picnic.

Plentiful parking around the fields complex. Variety of fields for different sports. Looks clean and maintained. There is a new playground with benches around. Trails to Paerdegat beach could be accessed from the Fields.

Very nice, my family and I went for a walk here. I was amazed at the nature., of course it is not like the islands but to know you can immerse yourself in nature and see rocks, seashells and sticks....... Lol. It's great my toddler had a blast and favor walking the path over playing on the playground.

Going to the water shore was also great because it was my very first time under their. What was amazing was that even though the Belt Parkway traffic was above, it was very quiet under there, you could bring a blanket and food and have a picnic, just ensure you clean up after and don't litter.

The only word of caution is that the route to McGuire Field can be lonely so it's not safe at nights.

Most of all if you walk this route via Seaview Park, then at some point you have to turn around and go back in that direction, if you continue walking then you will get to Canarsie Pier and like us your car will be at...

Terrific, large park. Playground in the rear with tennis courts and a roller hockey rink, and several baseball fields in front. Field #1 is artificial turf. Lots of Little League games are played here in the spring and summer under the auspices of a really good organization; kids of all ages. Field house with bathrooms in the center. Grandstands for viewing. Sometimes they sell hot dogs and soda. Really...
