Very nice, my family and I went for a walk here. I was amazed at the nature., of course it is not like the islands but to know you can immerse yourself in nature and see rocks, seashells and sticks....... Lol. It's great my toddler had a blast and favor walking the path over playing on the playground.
Going to the water shore was also great because it was my very first time under their. What was amazing was that even though the Belt Parkway traffic was above, it was very quiet under there, you could bring a blanket and food and have a picnic, just ensure you clean up after and don't litter.
The only word of caution is that the route to McGuire Field can be lonely so it's not safe at nights.
Most of all if you walk this route via Seaview Park, then at some point you have to turn around and go back in that direction, if you continue walking then you will get to Canarsie Pier and like us your car will be at...
