This park is a great little hidden gem. It also serves as host to the Lincoln Park Annual Music Festival, located in downtown Newark, New Jersey's Art District. Talk about three days of summer music fun in the sun, with great food and vendors too. Each day a different genre of music is profiled. Traditionally, Friday is designated for Gospel music, followed by House Music on Saturday and Hip Hop on Sunday. Folks come from far and wide to enjoy the sounds and performances of world reknown artists and DJs who never disappoint. It's a family reunion of sorts and an out and out good time....all for free!    Read moreI will say, with the addition of the all-year-round mini-lights that run above the park at night now, it gives it a charming, almost mystical aura! Looks great! And the park itself seems to be kept clean and relatively save. It doesn't offer much, as a park, or anything else, other than a small expanse of green and a nice, medium size spot to hold a lot of events!
