Liss Pharmacy — Attraction in Newark

Rich Mistichelli, the PH in charge... This so call "professional pharmacist", I've spoken to him twice out the 2 years I have been going and both of the conversations he was rude and nasty. In the last conversation I have with him, instead help me finding the root of the issue that his pharmacy messed up on, he simple to told me to go find another pharmacy.... I have special need child and the meds are for her seizures... He came at me saying I messed up her meds, that I'm doing something wrong but instead of him trying to de-escalate the issue and try to find the root of the issue he simply brushed me away doesn't want my service. I've never had someone speak to me or treat in this form and I deal with a lot of professionals on the medical field because of my daughter needs. Mr. Mistichelli and the other female pharmacist shouldn't be dealing with patients if you are going to treat nasty, assume things put words into other people's mouth you're a professional where is a professionalism it totally went out the door that day it makes you think of they don't care about your patients or their well being, is it just for the money. I think we can do better to help patients in anyway needed. The only person I can say have always be amazing and always have helped with issues is Juan, amazing gentleman I wish the rest of that pharmacist was...

Although my family uses this pharmacy I found my short experience with them horrible, they billed medication to Medicaid that wasn’t in stock and then the girl at the front counter was just down right rude. I immediately call my insurance company (Horizon NJ Health) explained the situation and they changed the pharmacy. Frankly I think it irresponsible of a pharmacy not to stock a patient life saving medication and then to be dismissive about getting it as if I have no other options the arrogance in that. I did speak with Rich from Liss Pharmacy since this posting and after some investigation via Google there is a national shortage of Victoza however I not removing this review because his front end staff should have explain that instead of being rude and arrogant. Rich is a very nice person connected with him right away but again his staff...

I was standing in line behind one man and the cashier says, " Next in line, ohh nobody". And I said " Ya Somebody" and put my purchases on the counter at her check out. I asked her for diabetic test strips that they have behind the pharmacy. So the other cashier was basically laughing in my face and rolling her eyes. Then the girl that made the nasty comment when I was at the checkout comes back from behind the pharmacy with my test strips and they both looked at each other and laughed. I am Caucasian and every time i go in this pharmacy I get employees rolling there eyes, talking 2 faced about me in spanish(and yes I know the language fluently), and I get treated " differently" because I am not...
